Get a Wii later, for now get a PS3. PS3 far less expensive than X360 with better graphics and better game lineup.
I wouldn't even consider X360 with it's defects, it's overpriced accessories, the only system to charge for online play and it's lack of exclusives; most of which can be found on PS3 or PC. Also X360 is losing the sales battle worldwide which means in the future less developer support like the original Xbox. People who say games go for X360 are referring to 2006 games back when PS3 or Wii didn't exist, games nobody plays anymore. X360 for past games, go PS3 for the future.
Proabably the most asked question in System Wars, and the one that you will never get the right answer to.
Stop being lazy and do some research. Gmaespot and other sites like it has all of the information you will ever need to make an informed decision...Nobody here can pick the right console for you. Making the right choice is all about your preference. All you will get here is biased answers.

Those are facts below, not my opinion
PS3 is less expensive when you get what you need for X360. Online Play at $50/year for X360 makes up any difference in price all by itself. Need wifi on X360 $100, extra gamertags on X360 $15, recharge kit $15, HD upgrade 120gb $179, etc...
PS3 has the best games graphically, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, UT3 are all superior to anything currently on X360.
Better games lineup. Almost all 2008 top ten wanted games lists are filled with PS3 titles. Including Granturismo, Metal Gear, Wipeout, SOCOM, Resistance2, Killzone, Little Big Planet, etc...

It's ALL opinion. The examples you gave are total nonsense and not even worthy of debate SINCE ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN DISPROVEN MANY TIMES ON THIS BOARD.Your post is exactly why I told the TC not to trust any responses here. All he's going to get is a bunch of biased nonsense from people who should know better.
I have a PS3 and a 360. YOU DON'T OWN a 360 so how are you a reliable source of information for anybody. You information is full of opinions. It's obvious you don't know the difference between fact and opinion.
Here's a fact: YOU ARE BIASED. Thus that makes you an unreliable source of information.
Jesus, you put a friggin GAMERTAG change as a needed expense for the 360?
