There were so many PS3 SKUs, 20 gigs, 40 gigs, 60 gigs, 80 gigs, so most likely it did sold more to retailers than the 360.

There were only 2 360 SKUs within a year, thats the Core and Premiums, it introduced the others late in its second year. The PS3 had 4 SKUs all within 12 months. :|

I don't understand why people are so surprised about this. Both the Wii and the PS3 came out in the past year, so why exactly would sales of the 360 jump, when they went from the only next-gen system to one of 3? Sure, MS dropped the 360's price, but they only did so by $50 (the Pro, from $400 to 350), which is far from the sub-$200 price point that the PS2 thrived at. The PS3 outsold the 360 last year? Now, I'm not trying to say the PS3 sold horribly, but it was outsold by the 360 for most of the year, if you take out the PS3 launch window (in which a great deal of said PS3's were sold).
I'm not trying to put a positive or negative spin on either system's sales, but I think everyone needs a little bit of perspective before we really start worrying about this information. 2008 sales should be a lot more meaningful than 2007's, because by then all 3 systems will have been firmly entrenched for at least 2 years.

 they were there are you happy. typing fastI must say, I've never been a huge Eli Manning fan (it pissed me off how he was whining about where he'd be drafted a few years back), but at least last night, I wanted to give him a hug. Thank Jesus those f-ing cheats the Pats didn't win...

Interesting did the PS3 outsell the 360 in 2007? Apparently this war is more hard fought than people think or what we hear in the internet.hamidious
If you include the U.S. & Japan launch months, then yes. If you include ship to retail, then yes. If you are talking strictly Jan 01, to Dec 31, 2007, then no.
