Choosing a game console can be tough, but, it's still important to choose the right game console for you. This review will be about the Xbox 360 vs the PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360's pricing ranges from 200 to 500 dollars while PS3's pricing is 300 to 600 dollars. The 360 beats the PS3 in price, but, that doesn't mean it's better. Let's face it, the PS3 is surperior to the Xbox 360, this is because the PS3 has Blu-ray, Linux support, and the PlayStation Network. It also has a wireless adaptor while the 360 doesn't, but you can buy a wireless adaptor for the 360, the only problem is that it's half the size of a PlayStation 2 Slim (wireless adaptors should be about the size of an SD card). Also, if you have a Bluetooth headset, you can sync it to your PS3 and use it. While Xbox 360's wired headsets are around 20 dollars and wireless headsets for $49.99 or even $69.99 (it cost around 20 dollars to get a wireless Bluetooth headset).

Look at these Xbox 360 harddrive prices:

120 GB - $119.99 to $149.99

60 GB - $ 99.99

20 GB - $ 59.99

Now look at these PS3 harddrive prices:

500 GB - $100.00

320 GB - $ 89.99

160 GB - $ 64.99

120 GB - $ 59.99

80 GB - $ 54.99

The PS3 creamed the Xbox 360 in harddrive prices. Also, did you know that the Xbox 360 doesn't have a internet browser. The PS3, Wii, PSP, and even the DSi have an internet browser, also, it's a simple feature. So if you want the better console go for the PS3 but if you want the cheaper console, the Xbox 360 is waiting for you.

dont forget you need to pay for the electricity, your rent/mortgage to house the 360, also water and food to keep you alive to game on 360, and not to mention your internet, and airconditioning since the 360 gives off heat and heats you home. wow thats a heafty price

I'm going to guess that this is another laughably tired 'If you add on all this nonmandatory bull****, the 360 is more epensive' topic. Am I in the ballpark there?

Seriously, ever since that stupid GI article about console failure rates was released this board has had an influx of stupid.

LOL!! Oh wait. The PS3 used to be a sexy beast. What happened? Glad I still have the 60GB PS3. I didn't even read what tidymanUK wrote. Miore fanboy babble. We've been seeing a lot of that since the PS3 got a price cut. It'll be funny is the PS3 ends up in 3rd place again this holiday. I'll LMAO!!

If it weren't for the mass hardware failures of the 360 it would be a good console, but the PS3 gives you more for your money by far.

Some will disagree, like me. I feel I have gotten more value out of my 360 than I did when I owned a PS3.

Nah 249$ xbox360 pro 60 gb is better deal. It's a damn shame microsoft is phasing it out, but get one while you can. ps3's hardware is trash especially the gpu. lol blu ray is useless unless you want to watch blu ray movies, i could give a damn difference isnt much between blu ray/dvd. not to mention blu ray only has a 3% userbase on pc LOL games wont be shipping on blu ray disk for pc for along time.

You forgot to mention that the 360 comes with a headset, it also has XBL (even though you have to pay)

You also use circular reasoning, and forget to state that it's your opinion that the PS3 is a better console.

Nice try though.

Yeah, a bluray player. Unfortunatly i get consoles to play games and game wise 360 offers a lot more than any other console this gen.
