VGchartz from what I understand makes up every one of these countries weekly numbers, except for Japan's and then corrects them once they get the real numbers. Problem is we are still missing Asia and Europe numbers, which again VGchartz makes up every week. We only get those numbers once a year at best and they normally are an estimate/combined countries for those regions since there are so many.

Also when it comes to myself, I go by shipped to retail numbers, which again is only done by 2 of the 3 major consoles makers. Nintendo and MS. Sony's numbers = manufactured, not shipped to retail. When it comes to 100% accurate numbers those are the only ones you can trust. Every thing else, including NPD, has a percentage of the market, but not the entire market. You can't lie on your quarter and yearly reports so obviously shipped or manufactured numbers = most accurate.

I don't go around listening to what everyone says, obviously.
Just because Neogaf is upset because they didn't get a response from VGChartz, doesn't mean you have to continue whining about it.

And, having taken several courses involving probability and statistics, I know people bashing VGchartz are just doing it as an outlet for damage control, in some, if not many cases.

Oh noez! If PS3 continues at this rate, it will only sell 40 million consoles in 5 years. Double what Gamecube sold. How awful! :roll: It will beat N64 sales and come close to SNES sales. Yet, I guess for teh Sony, this is terrible to most people since it won't sell 120 million units. The PS3 is not selling as bad as people make it sound. It is also set to outsell the original Xbox within 3 years time. PS3 hasn't even got its killer titles out yet either. It is selling faster than what Gamecube sold at $99 :lol:

BTW Christmas is an intepritation of the Roman holiday that celebrates the solstis (shortest day of the year).

When the Romans became christian they took many of the previous holidays and made them more chiristian.

So don't claim Christmas as a christian holiday because its a pagan holiday which has had its meaning changed.

You are just used to Sony obliterating the competition. It isn't happening...but the PS3 isn't selling nearly as badly as people make it sound. It is going to surpass Gamecube sales in less than 3 years at this rate. It will beat N64 sales easily at this rate. It will beat the original Xbox sales easily at this rate. And remember...lemmings seem to think the original Xbox obliterated the Gamecube. It beat it...barely. But somehow, to lemmings the original Xbox sold really, really well. However PS3 is easily going to outsell it, yet lemmings say the PS3 is selling horribly. I love teh double standard!
