There is another thing that people seem to forget is that the developers are wanting to start using the extra Blue-Ray space for games now. When this happens the Blue-Ray will no longer be a luxury but a necessity just to play the games.
Any way you slice it the bare minimum you need for gaming is at least 200 bucks more expensive for the PS3. That is a lot of money - add 50 bucks and you can get 2 PS2's for the price difference alone....
The PS3 will probably never reach the price level that made sales of the PS2 skyrocket in the mass market (200 bucks and lower). Sony should be very very concerned about this.
