[QUOTE="Amnesiacx"][QUOTE="Shazenab"] [QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]Only 1 million behind the 360. Didn't Sony say they were planning to overtake the 360 in Europe by the summer? With the GTA4 and MGS4 bundles, it looks likely.Shazenab
something like that, but MS also said their new target is Europe, so they both have something brewing for the region.
Won't matter much if at all. M$ has also talked about how hard they were pushing the 360 in Japan and look at what that got them.
The difference is a lot more European markets are americanised. Where as Japan and America are easy to pidgeon hole, Europe is a mixture of both with each country differing wildly. As an example the Wii is huge in the uk, but it's sales are pitiful in areas like Spain, where Ps3 numbers are huge.
How are we "Americanized" when the best selling consoles here always have been Japanese? ;)
BTW they still are...
Wii has been the topselling console overall in Europe since its release.

Its only really the Uk thats Americanised to any major amount.Yeah that's true and UK differs itself from Europe overall. UK couldn't be a worse country to solely judge Europe on. Germany would be a much better choise...
