In Denmark it's down by £60 = 85$ if those prices are converted directly.

I feel sorry for my friend, he just bought the Killzone 2/MGS4 bundle last month. He should have waited and got this. He only plays sports games so I doubt he's interested in the games bundled with his PS3. Sony is smart though for keeping this a "secret".

The only thing he seems to be missing out on is the extra memory. Is the slim even backwards compatible?

I'll stick to my chunky monkey :D In my case I don't trust PS slim designs... I always think that the fan being reduced in size is not such a great idea... lol but in any case its fantastic news for the non PS3 owners! It's really a great console and with added bluray player and Wifi you get your money's worth!
