The biggest point was that the ps3 is selling better in Jan. than the 360 bc it's its second month on the market and there are many holdovers that would have bought the ps3 in December and were forced to wait until January bc of low supply numbers.  That and the fact that January was the first month (of two that the ps3 has been on sale) for it to be widely available.
