Yea, but there's honestly no reason Halo 3 shouldn't have gotten AAAA over MGS4 or GTA4. It's way too subjective to mean anything- there really isn't any difference between AAA and AAAA.

lol System Wars is really a strange place. People practically DEMAND a game receive high scores here if it is to be considered great, and even when games get a perfect 10, if a few people don't agree it's "TEH PROOF" that the score was inaccurate and thus should be forgotten.

That's why SW is a pointless forum. :P

I can't believe people are still mad or DC about these games getting a 10 :|.

[QUOTE="angryfodder"]MGS IV should never have got a 10Blazerdt47
Why is that? Judging by your sig your obviously just a fanboy. Run along angryfodder.

Well if you want a non fanboy opinion I thought MGS4 was a 8.5 title. Before you asked yes I have played the other Metal Gear Solid games and I enjoyed them more too. As for GTA4 I thought it was a 8.5-9.0 title. Personally I haven't played a game this gen that deserves a 10/10.

I agree. One game magazine I read has moved to a 1-10 scale (no decimals.) Why? Because they where tired of people arguing how a game that got 9.7 was so much better then a game that got a 9.6.

Isn't that just stating the obvious? What's your point?

I think Uncharted 2 should of scored a 10, its not like a 10 mean Perfect anymore.

GTSaiyanjin2
That makes absolutely no sense to me. Now if, like OXM the rating scale was up to 11, then yeah 10 out of a possible 11 has room. But the scale is up to 10. 10 out of a possible 10. Tell Mary Lou Retton or Nadia Comaneci that their 10's weren't perfect. Now the olympics use this ridiculous no ceiling rating system, that no one gets or cares for. If the scale is up to 10, and you get a 10, where is the flaw recognized? Just go back to the .1 rating system.

I think 10/10 is more like "As perfect as you can get for the time being" meaning, about as solid of a game as you can make when comparing it to other releases. Because even in the video review of GTA IV says "GTA IV is not a perfect game..." I don't think they mean Literally perfect as in, don't even play anything else.
