PS3, thinking of getting a 360 Elite as well

Love my PS3, used to own an original 360. The graphics on my PS3 I think are better on most games then xbox, also the Blu Ray disc makes the games run better I believe. I was thinking of getting the 4GB Elite since its only $199 just to have something else to play and I miss how great Xbox live was......would it be worth my while to get it? Mostly just play games like Madden, NBA, Battlefield and Call of Duty.

Graphics for PS3 games really are not better. The two platforms are pretty much the same in capability and in many cases the 360 version of multiplatss are a little better. Games don't run better on blu-ray(which is why many games on PS3 require an installation).

Anyway, I feel it's a waste of money to get a 360 if all you're gonna buy on it are games that are available on the PS3 as well. I would still encourage to get a 360 though if it's not too much trouble to your budget since there are alot of great games on it that you can't get on PS3... But if all you want to get is CoD, Battlefield and NBA then forget it.

If you're just going to play multiplats that you could get on your PS3, no.

Get whatever you want but I would wait till black friday deals so you can get a360 with a hard drive.

This. As long as your careful not to get run over by numerous other cheap bast*rds lol. But yea, there will be some fantastic deals for new 360 or PS3's on Black Friday. Just wait a bit.

Is xbox live still as reliable and do many people use headsets still? The PSN makes me mad alot of the time and hardly anyone uses headsets. Nfritz87

I mean I see lag a lot of times on PSN even though I have a 15Mbps connection, and also is Live still $49.99 for a year? I sold my old Xbox back in 2008 I think. It was right before the Elite came out or right after I can't remember.

You see lag? On what game? COD? That lags on every system :X

xbox live is still miles ahead of psn and the vast majority of multiplat games look and play better on the 360.

people want to get all upset about it here and cry that they are barely better and maybe they are even right but still, better is better.

even with all that though you may be better off waiting until e3 2012 to see if they announce the 360s replacement.
