How do Warhawk (AUG 28th), Lair (Sept 4th) Heavenly Sword (Sept 12th) have anything to do with the holiday season? Nobody is hyping summer games as big holiday titles.

Labor day is not the holiday season. Christmas is the holiday season. The PS3 "holiday" games are all coming out Nov-Dec.

ill be playing warhawk looonnnggg into the holiday season. And then even if i get bored of that ill play UT3. And hell probably even halo 3. because im not an ignorant fanboy(not calling you one just saying in general).

3 games Warhawk flopped too.

Warhawk has gone a little way towards redeeming the PS3 on the games side but I bought the thing as a media player for my lounge and it does that very well.

Needs to try much harder at being a games console though...but i'm not sure I will ever get on with those horrible, horrible trigger buttons.

All in all it's a good purchase for me given the reasoning behind it.

I don't really care about Lair but I am disappointed with the reviews Heavenly Sword has received. Too much focus on presentation, too little focus on gameplay.

However, there are some nice looking titles coming for the PS3 this year including: Uncharted, Haze, Ratchet and Clank, UT3, and Assassin's Creed. I think all of those will get at least AA here but I'm personally really interested in Haze/Uncharted.

i like shooters, but i dont love shooters. if you love shooters by all means get a 360. but i love rpgs and adventure games, and it looks like the ps3 is going to have the best of those through 2008. If your not a fan of shooters, was the 360 a bad purchase? blue dragon wasnt the AAA RPG it was hyped ( or AA)and i dont know why mass effect is already a AAA game , just because it looks good? unprovengames ''sigh''

And why would you ask for exclusive games when one of those are multiplat, and the others are more than likely going to be on PC.

Actually the more I think about it, I didnt even buy a PS3 for those games any how, I was hoping they would turn out well like Warhawk did but the main games for me still havent hit shelves just yet.
