PS3 Version of Skyrim / This Crap Drives Me Crazy (Link)

Look i know that the PC and 360 is easiest for dev's to develop on, but c'mon the friggin' PS3 has been out now for 5 years.

You mean to tell me after 5 years Bethesda and other dev's can't adjust to the PS3 hardware.

PS3 is the superior hardware on paper but when multiplat games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, Red Dead, Grand Theft Auto 4 and countless others come out, there always looking and running better on 360.

There is just no reason for this anymore.....

If this keeps up i might very well trade up so my user name matches my console again, because i'm sick of having the inferior version of the game.

Maybe some devs can't handle the PS3.

Wrong the ps3 hardware is wonky. The problem with games on ps3 is not the developers but the ps3 hardware itself. That 256 shared memory from the ps3 is the problem for big games that require big save files. The 360 n ps3 has the same memory BUT the 512 the 360 has can go either towards graphics or memory while the ps3 is split and can't do that.

I have it on PC and PS3. PC version blows both version out of the water but my PS3 version is very playable. I have yet to encounter as many bugs and glitches. I have had a few bugs here and there but certainly not unplayable. Also helps my save file is under 4000kb.

It's funny how it's only lemmings claiming GOTG just because the PS3 version has alot of issues. The X360 version is bad as well, PC is the way to go.

I don't know where people are getting this "Skyrim sucks on PS3" thing from. I have amassive11MB save file with over 40 hours into it and I play it almost every day, no issues for me at all. Some minor glitches here and there, but it plays fine. I think most of this stuff is just being spued by insecure 360 fanboys.

And the rest of the multiplats are fine too, they are hardly different from each other. Don't have any complaints with PS3 multiplats, they play and look the same as the 360, yes they REALLY do just with minimal differences only a fanboy would care about.

Okay so? What does this matter? Because one guy is having an issue means we all are? I'm doing fine on PS3 Skyrim, does that upset you somehow? I guess you can't sleep at night knowing that, you can blieve whatever you want (and you will).

Its all over the internet from articles. My facebook page is littered with skyrim ps3 problems n dash board updates for the 360 tomorrow.

Well my brother n law has it on 360, and i'll be looking at his version in great detail while comparing it with my PS3 version and if his appears less laggy and alot smoother in any way, i'm switching, i've waited years for this game and i'll be damned if i'm going to accept a lesser version.Slimmin360

i'm kinda bummed they just copy pasted the ps3 patch that resets the areas into the 360 version.

i miss the dragon skellys laying about in the towns and all the crap i knock over being there when i get back.

also i put a gourd on the queen of solitudes throne.... and she never... said a word... about it.

she just smiled and said she was "glad to see me".

and now it's gone!
