I found this to be very interesting. I own a PS3 and one of my brothers has a 360. Every single game I own on the system with the exception of one goes as high as 720p. My brother's 360 collection almost entirely goes to 1080i or p. I found this very surprising.
I started checking this out because I noticed that Uncharted 2 was only 720p. I would have expected that one of all the PS3 exclusives to go 1080p. It also runs at 30 frames per second.
Why are so few PS3 games in 1080?

1080p on 360 is usually just upscaled (360 has a hardware upscaler if I remember correctly). Both consoles have a few XBLA/PSN games and a few retail games that do 1080p natively though.
Graphics intensive games like UC, Gears, Killzone, ME, etc... can't handle 1080p 60fps with console hardware.
Thanks for th info. I'm not knowledgable in the ways of graphics. All I did was look at the back of the boxes.
Yeah no problem, here is an article about the upscaler here.
PS3 not having an upscaler turned out to be a problem for some people with older 1080i/480p/480i only tvs though.
