Well I'm still very indecisive about this. I do think Xbox360 earns some credit for being cheaper but Ps3 is a complete package. I've been doing research on thr 2 consoles and I'm starting say Ps3. 360 is still good though.sonicthemegamanYeah if you should want to do some some gaming Xbox 360 has the edge, but if you want a whole bunch of other stuff then a PS3 is the best just gotta pay extra for it.
ps3 :D. better overall package, better features, better system, better games (IMO), better online games, better store, newer technology, ps1 classics, and metal gear solid 4 :D
Oh yeah, I forgot you could re-buy old ps1 games. I LOVE my old ps1 games. I could even buy games I missed that are hard to find. Hope I can get the old X-men vs. Street Fighter game on there.ps3 :D. better overall package, better features, better system, better games (IMO), better online games, better store, newer technology, ps1 classics, and metal gear solid 4 :D

ps3 is the only next-gen console after ps2, xbox, gc.
i think the wii and x360are just add on's from previous generation hardware.

I thought that was for Dreamcast but if there is a ps1 version aviable for purchase, I'd like that even more. This is a very old debate, but what are your opinions on here? I say 360 owns all no doubt, you might have to pay for xbox live, but it's worth it. More and better DLC and Netflix and other features that the PS3 doesn't have. Avatars, better mini games, great online gameplay and cooler games. I say the Xbox has got it all. Now for your opinions. Xbox? Or PS3?CrimsonBlade541It dosent have it all, no internet browser, home and built in WiFi. Its exclusives(the few it has) are mediocre at best. PSN has higher rated games and PS3 exclusives are much better.

This is too easy. Two very similiar consoles, one costs $200 and one costs $400. And the cheaper one has better online and Netflix. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to answer this question.
PS3 vs Xbox 360 has started to get boring sence that topic has been on here everyday sence the PS3's launch. How about we mix it up like PS3 vs Nintendo DS.
just more people i know have a 360, both systems might have been equal if I had friends on the ps3. but the exclusives on the 360 are way more entertaining to me so I play the 360 everyday and the ps3 once every 4 months. I would start playing it again if Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy VS and the Final Fnatsy VII remake comes. If Sony could get off their asses to give what the users want they would could get on top again. Until then, I'll be happy playing Ghostbusters, Burnout Paradisewith my friends. :)

[QUOTE="mitu123"]Im trying to understand how people can say 360 has better games. What are they? Because cant find 1 i like other than a few RPGs. Thats YOUR OPINION, it doesnt make it law.I own both, prefer 360, maybe next year it'll be year of the PS3.
djsifer01
I am deciding which one to get as well, its a very tough choice.
For me PS3 pros:
BluRay
FFXIII VS
Free Online
PS3 Cons:
price
PSN not as good as 360
360 Pros:
Price
GoW2
Live is a great service
360 Cons:
No FF XIII VS
Other games im interested in are Multiplat (Brutal legend, FFXIII)
So im kind of stuck :P

I know it feels wrong to use 360/PC games, but I don't game on PC all the time, only from time to time, and it's not on the PS3 either. What I meant is more games, PS3 has like 9 great exclusives so far not counting PSN(MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted, Resistance 1 and 2, Ratchet and Clank: TOD, inFamous, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2), but 360 has more IMO(Halo 3, Gears of War 1 and 2, Saints Row, Kameo, G.R.A.W, PDZ, Forza 2, Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, PGR4, Dead or Alive 4, and I haven't tried Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Crackdown). Its quite simple, they have a different opinion. Not everyone wants to play ratchet and resistance.

I'm pretty sure you can't watch Netflixs on the $200 360 without a gold subscription and a HDD (to save movies) That alone brings the 360 up to the price of a PS3This is too easy. Lol why are you asking these people opinions? \ Here are the facts - ps3 60 games. mostly childish - xbox 360 260 games, alot are exculsive, -halo 3's community alone, is larger then the entire ps3 community on average by like 15%. - xbox 360 arcade, cmon who dosnt like playing the atari, super nintendo.n64 titles? and to finish off blue ray is stupid and unnecessary as said by many professionals. you would need a 100 inch tv to tell diverance between not normal dvds and bluray. and xbox wins because it out sold the ps3 by a margin of 60%, and the reason ps3 sold as much as it did is because sony is more in touch with Asian countries.Phallass
You are way off base.
You don't need a 100 inch screen to appreciate the great quality of blu-ray. Any good HD TV will do, but for the full benefit of 1080p, a 46 inch or larger screen is ideal.
PS3 games are childish? That one doesn't even warrant a comment. Killzone 2, and God of War 3 say "hello."
