Really bro? Sony by far and away has the best hardware this gen, its the only one with a br player and overall is the most advanced of any of the consoles. Sony is a company known for losing money on hardware so saying there cheapening out on hardware is just anohter poor attempt at trolling.

Hardware wise PS3 > 360 x 100

360 is made so poorly it screams "white trash."

ZombieKiller7

obviously not true since 360 wifi is far superior

When you move the box, everything inside rattles, wires are not secure properly, and the case is a squeaky piece of schit.

Disks can shift inside the primative tray and get scratched. They've had 7 years to fix this and didn't.

The first 5 generations of the Xbox360 didn't even have wifi, they only added it recently, it's a newer A/B/G wifi which means schit since %99.9 of internet service can't even fully utilize the older A/B wifi. And you shouldn't be using wifi for gaming in the first place. Wifi is for soccer moms, not gamers.

HDMI cable sold seperately

Charging cables sold seperately

Online multiplayer sold seperately

No compatibility with Bluetooth headsets, Blu-Ray disks, MLAA, and most USB peripherals

Kinect far inferior to Move for tracking, precision, latency, and cannot track objects on a Z axis.

Proprietary HDD, not upgradeable

PS3 > 360 hardware x 100

---

Oh yeah almost forgot.

%30 failure rate for 360

%9 failure rate for PS3

Reach3 owned yet again

Kids pathetic.

ummm ok

you really wanna talk hardware being a MS fan ???

RROD Kinect not working for any game that don't dance

lets go back to sales MS fans your first system didn't even have wifi you had to pay up for wireless

STARTNPLAY1
RROD no longer existed ever since the S-model (those who claim that the S-model does RROD are liars because they faked it) Kinect works, it depends on the developers

I never had any problems with the PS3 hardware and Wi-Fi.

Stop being a dumb Xbox fanboy, and then you would see a better world.

TC is an idiot. I have a 2009 ps3 slim 250gb and a 2010 250gb 360 in the same unit and two rooms from the router. The ps3 reports 87% signal while the 360 reports two bars (50 % 70%) /thread

STARTNPLAY1

was fixed. ps3 wifi is not. try again

and Kinect ??? you know that piece of hardware is crap at reading unless your dancing

Move and the Wiimote have limited use as well. Which is evident that no one knows what to do with it apart from Nintendo for the most part.

When you move the box, everything inside rattles, wires are not secure properly, and the case is a squeaky piece of schit. What? :|

Disks can shift inside the primative tray and get scratched. They've had 7 years to fix this and didn't.

That's because DVDs spin faster than Blu-Ray and it was fixed, it's called installing. The disc isn't spinning when you play from the HDD.

No compatibility with Bluetooth headsets, Blu-Ray disks, MLAA, and most USB peripherals

Why do you need a wireless headset when it connects to the wireless controller?Blu Ray discs aren't needed right now.

Now for MLAA, also a highlighted part of the artical:

"Q: We've seen Sony's implementation of MLAA, costing around 3-4ms across five SPUs. How does your implementation compare from a performance perspective?

Jorge Jimenez: It's difficult to say given that we are running on different platforms and configurations. On PC, we're quite fast. In fact, we're almost free on the mid-high GPU range (around 0.4ms on a GeForce GTX 295) and, as far as we know, the fastest approach given the maximum line length we are able to handle. On the Xbox 360 we run at 2.47ms, with still a lot of possible optimisations to try."

Kinect far inferior to Move for tracking, precision, latency, and cannot track objects on a Z axis.

And yet move is barely being used just like most other Sony peripherals.

Yeah, ha d alot of problems with Wifi as well and now use ethernet over power lines. But that aside, it's pretty stupid to claim x360 had bette rhardware if you A: had to pay for the Wifi adapter and B: it has the probably hugest hardware failures in the gaming history
