[QUOTE="Augustus117"][QUOTE="mstc_Q"][QUOTE="Augustus117"][QUOTE="mstc_Q"]I bought a Wii.
I got dissatisified with the Wii.
Family gets a 360 with Rockband.
I decide I hate rockband
I try other 360 games during my visits to my family.
I think a lot of them are good or decent, but most of the ones I like are multiplats.
Tried Halo 3, got bored after 1/2 an hour.
MGS4 is released.
Bought a PS3 for MGS4.
Love my PS3, I love PSN, I love the other games I got, I love backward compatibility, and I'm satisified with my purchase.
As far as I'm concerned the PS3 won the war.

I bought Wii.
I found the Wii to not be enough,
Went out and did research on most of the games I liked. Found out that most of the ones I like are multiplatform or exclusives for the 360 (except for KH and MGS4).
Bought a 360 for Gears of War, Halo, Lost Odysey, a couple JRPG's that were supposed to come out for it, and for the fact that almost everyone I know that owns a console owns a 360 and not a PS3.
I love my 360, I love Live, I love the other games I have, I love being able to play some of the old xbox hits that I missed, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
As far as I'm concerned, the 360 has won the war.
That's your logic. I don't own a PS3,I like the 360, therefore the 360 wins. Yeah, right. (By the way, I do like the PS3, I just can't afford both right now. I'm just trying to point out the flaws in your reasoning.)
There are no flaws in my reasoning, and there are no flaws in your reasoning. This is because logic is based on established truths.
Okay, so both the 360 and the PS3 have now won the war?
edit: IMHO, both are great consoles and there probably won't be a clear "winner" until much later in this gen. It's harder this gen, last gen everyone knew the PS2 was champ. The 360 was in the PS2's situation this gen, but the PS3 has made a great comback. I think it could go either way, really.
There will never be a clear and universal winner.
Even the dead and buried dreamcast has a fanbase.
i get it! he said "in MY mind the ps3 has won the war" he's trying to point out that there can never relly be a winner cos everyone is different, in some peoples mind the ps3 has won in other peoples mind the 360 has won and like he said even the dead and buried dreamcast has a fanbase, basically, the truths we believe in depend greatly on our own point of view and we apply logic based on our own established truths
