I was wondering, is it possible to connect a 360 controller to a ps3 with some sort of adaptor? Because my hands hurt after playing an hour or so with the dualshock. I'd like to try Killzone without cramps.

No thanks, I like my PS3 controller. Even for shooters.. I don't see what the fuss is about. I can play games like KZ2 and CoD4 just fine with the controller. Maybe it's just fanboys.
Edit: Eh, I just noticed this thread is flamebait/trolling.. meh.
It did indeed sound flamebaiting, but it was a legitimate question. I remember playing GT4 and having to stop each 10 minutes because my fingers hurt. I do feel like the controller is the one thing that holds the Ps3 back. The games are there, but playing them with that little, slippery, non-ergonomic thing is just a waste. :(
The 360 controller is just a Rip off the playstation controller with skittles buttons. The only difference is that the 360 controller needs batteries like a fisher price toy.
[QUOTE="mitu123"]The DS3 isn't that great for anything tbh. Other than the crappy d-pad, the 360 controller is perfect imo. Hey, you're back, I love the 360 controller as well besides the dpad, it annoys me, and your sig is funny.I heard about an adapter, and that's nice, because the PS controller is not that great for shooters anyways.
Doolz2024
there is an adapter that will let you use the 360 controller... but obviously you will not be able to use motion control. ReaperV7
really? well that just knocked out one of my last complaints of the PS3. I never liked the Sony controllers.
[QUOTE="urdead18"][QUOTE="Bazooka_4ME"]IMO, the DS3 is probably the best controller around when it comes to racing, shooters, action/adventure, and fighting esp. Ducati20This. I love the Dualshock for any game I play. I guess it's subjective. I think it's about hand size too.I am only 5'7 so my hands are not that big but the ps3 controllers are still too small.
I personally liked the original XBOX controller.JigglyWiggly_
Are you talkin' about the one that looked like a Game Gear? I think that was the best Xbox controller.

Yup, I love it :) Looks like a dreamcast's controller. I really did like the original XBOX because it was a man's console... really. Just look at the controller :P[QUOTE="TheGrat1"]Again with this "my hands hurt" crap. Either you're making it up or you're doing it wrong.Grady420Or maybe we doing right but are hands too big for the controller? The xbox controller fits to my hand and the analogs are more than an inch a part. You said you are 5' 7". I'm 6' 3" and the controller is fine. My hands never get cramps or any other fake conditions I see people make up.
I've always found the DS controllers to be poorly designed outside of the D-pad. I really don't like the (literally) tacked on analogue sticks.
Edit: I totally can't spell
I hate the DS3 controller. I don't have huge hands, but the controller is way too small. Also whytf can't they put the analog stick in the right place? The D-pad is great on the DS3, other then that the 360 controller owns the PS3.
The problem is the same, bad analog placement. They got these that are available:
I would go for the 2nd and 3rd if you have bigger hands.

The problem is the same, bad analog placement.SpideR_CentSThat's your opinion. These controllers are not just for comforting but for the design as well. Plus I'd rather have both of my thumbs on the same level when playing shooters.
They're designed especially for people (like yourself) who has big hands so if you're complaining about these then I don't see why you're not complaining about the 360's controller.. :?But those 3rd party controllers are usually **** quality.

Plus I'd rather have both of my thumbs on the same level when playing shooters. Fair enough. I'm saying for ME the PS3 controllers are the wackness for shooters. Also I don't think the triggers are as percise os the 360's. For me fighters are on the ps3 and shooters and racers are on the 360.

In what way(s) is it even similar to the DS3? :? It's nothing like it. 4 face buttons 4 shoulder buttons 2 sticks, a dpad. the x360 is pretty much a slightly bigger ps2 controller with triggers and the dpad and sticks the other way around. the ps3 and x360 controllers are very similar and both are just as good as each other. ps3 has terrible triggers and x360 has the worse dpad ever. the rest is no different.[QUOTE="MegajerkNYC"]

Nah i can honestly say that that is the main reason the i bought a playstation over an xbox because the playstation controller fits to my hands better.

so basically the 360 controller is a rip off of the PS3 controller becausethey have a similar amountof buttons on them? Err, IM just gonna go with no comment on this one.
I think the 360 controller (with the exception of the D pad) out performs the PS3 controller in every way. WHich is why that thing hthat was being discussed earliear allowing your 360 contoller to hook up to the PS3 has me so intrigued.
