PS3. Im tired of downloading every game I buy. I wanna pop it in right when i get home (yeah. that IS what she said) and play. Sweet, you got a browser, so does my three year old phone? PSN is free, but my opinion is, it is not as great as xbox live. Free wireless! woo! Is that why I get dropped more then when I'm on xbox?

360. Or should I say, 3rd 360? Ive bought 3 360's... WTF? Take a wild guess as to why. It's also loud and obnoxious unless I download the game onto the hard drive. Great update! Now I can spend $ on clothes for my Mii, I mean avatar. I can also buy a digital copy of Oblivion that I can't trade in or let a friend borrow for $30. I swore I saw Oblivion/Bioshock for $40 at the store.

PS3. With the price drop is without a doubt the best deal for a console in terms of hardware. It has bluray, have you seen bluray? "It's like the first time I heard The Beatles." Solid games. It does have a web browser (yes I attacked it earlier) which does come in handy for 50" plasma porn (yeah I said it, don't act like you check your myspace with it).

360. $300 for the elite is nice. A lot of online content, with exclusive add-ons. Xbox Live is great, it IS worth the money, it costs less then $5 (if my quick math's right) a month. Good games, good exclusives. They do fix the broken consoles. But when do 360's ever break?! (lol).

Both are well rounded, and flawed consoles. We love em. Fanboys need not reply.

All three consoles actually have good, great and bad things about them. The fanboyism in here seems to be more for fun. Granted some here seem to take it serious but they are nuts. Remember "What happens in System Wars has nothing to do with the real world"

Great post, i totally agree. I only have the PS3 and Wii (which i never use :) ) tho... not a 360 tho, the only thing thats stopped me buying one is the failure rate. May do in the future at some point though

That's because the Wii is a piece of garbage. Nah, I kid you, I'm really hoping for a Wii price drop I really want to pick one up. Just got my priorities elsewhere right now with my hard earned unemployment checks, lol. But a Wii price drop will give me a good reason to get one.

the web browser lets you watch game trailers on www.gametrailers.com on a big screen, it allows you to DL themes free straight to your HDD, and it allows you to search images and save then directly to you photos were you can use them as wallpaper or for your ID pic etc. The browser is free.

You get bluray that plays the highest quality vids and the discs are unscratchable. The free online is great and I never get dropped, no idea how you get dropped unless your ISP sucks. Charge and play controllers and WiFi is free and great.

The 360 fails way too much. Xlive is no better to me since PSN is reliable and does exactly what I need it to do. No WiFi. No HD movie player and uses regular DVDs that scratch. No charge and play controllers. Wow you get to design some stupid character and pay for clothes for it, big whoopty. Like I need to have that! The 360 is built to function just enough to game and everything is an add-on for more $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Well considering how I bought a 360, bought a Patriots faceplate, and a patriots controller and really wanted to like that system and owned it for 8 months with 2 failures and games freezing all the time and I paid $50 to play online and $100 for another HDD after mine failed and bought a cooling fan hoping that would help then it gets RRoD so I send it in to MS and they so called fixed it. So I get it back and it starts freezing every 10-15 mins. So I E-by it and buy a PS3 that runs flawless and since have bought 2 more PS3s that run flawless. They don't charge me to play online and it does more than the 360. So why on earth would I have anything nice to say about the 360 from my experiences between 360 and PS3?? Bluray unscratchable? Hmmmm. I'm gonna have to grab a bluray that I don't want and test that out lol. So it's a coincidence that my ISP only sucks when I'm on the PS3? PSN does what you NEED it to do, so did my piece of crap 92' honda. But my 2007 tC does what I NEED it to do and more. Same with Live. I have charge and play batteries that I don't need to sit on my ground to charge because the cord is too short. I'd rather the ps3 controller have batteries to be honest. You pay for clothes in Home too I think, and paying for clothes for your avatar is optional. Oh, and Tom Brady is a tool.

No, no love here, I just want everyone to take their hate OFF 360/ps3/pc/wii and aim it towards their loyal fanboys. The ones that still say the RROD rate is 54%, the ones that deny ps3 slim is the best console for the money, the ones that think the pc is dying (WoW? Starcraft 2? Diablo 3? Blizzard will never let PC die.), the ones that say Wii has NO good games.

Fanboys, it must suck to not be able to play some Halo ODST, then want a change of pace and go with God of War III, then relax with some Super Mario Galaxy 2. That's our future.

Solid summary, I agree completely now that I own the two major consoles.

Just about nailed it. I think we should remember that no one can survive without the other. Imagine the PS3 if there was no 360. It would still cost $2400 for all we know. Imagine 360 without PS3.. A lot of the games for 360 wouldnt exist. Lets give it a rest people. Both are great consoles.
