PS3s lineup is unstoppable this year

SSBM lasted me a year and a half playing with friends and SSBB will have even more content and online so I expect it to hold my attention even longer.

Xbox 360's lineup looks about equal.  I could post the games if you want.  The Wii's lineup looks okay and has some great games, but the PS3 and 360 have more great games coming out than the Wii does.

MGS4? Yea, like I want to play some old em0 Snake. Way to go, Kojima, you single-handedly ruined a franchise like Sony single-handedly ruined UMD and Betamax. Up until this game, Snake was the ultimate American Badass - the kind of guy that G.I. Joe would look up to as a real hero. Now you turned him into a **** em0 myspacer.

Killzone 2 - now with 50% SLOWER running speed to match the pathetic framerate, and 800% more delays! Do you honestly expect this game to come out in this year? This to the PS3 is likely to become the equivalent of Gran Turismo Mobile for the PSP.

Lair - um, sorry... but when even the devs themselves admitted that they made this game to be able to show off their ultra-$$$$$ home theater systems and brag to their friends about 't3h t1ght graphx!11!', do you honestly believe that there's going to be any solid gameplay underneath to keep you wanting to play?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - um, great game... too bad I already played it on the Xbox already.

SOCOM is a joke... it's basically the perfect example of a game that is only successful because of the system it was started on. Had this game showed up on the Xbox, it would have flopped harder then doing a belly flop into a pool from a 50-ft. dive.

Tekken 6 - another game that will never live up to the insanely high marketing and tech demo promises from Namco? oh yea, and a horrendously cheap A.I. to boot because of 't3h c3ll'... :roll:

Warhawk - I'd have given you this one, since I absolutely loved this game on the PS1. But watching that moron play it at the E3 Sony press conference, made me realize that there's no way I'd want to play it.

I mean look at the lineup this year, its amazing. Theres something here for everyone.

This year is gonna be 360's (period). Unless Sony or Ninty do something quite remarkable. And I think Ninty are more likely in 07 than Sony.

2008 is Sonys year to prove themselves with the PS3.

? MGS4 coming out this year is very unlikely. A demo (YES) but I very much doubt it, anybody who's been around the game industry for 10+ years will tell you that this game will not be rushed out for 2007. Especially when 2008 will hve a larger community on PS3.

PS3 has some diamonds like (Uncharted, Haze & Ratchett among others) but I still think some may be pushed back. I never believe release dates even (supposingly) confirmed ones. Sometimes they are just put in place to keep interest in a game/series or console.

 Either way or anyway...PS3, 360 and Wii all have some lovely titles in 07. Just my opinion says Sony is all about 2008.
