They both look very good. Anyways not everyone who owns a PC has a GTX 680, so only a few would be able to experience that tech demo at full quality on a PC.PS4:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNuIzOxOfn8

So what?....Doesnt take the unique substance you get with a console. Not that i am saying the PC gaming isnt unique but no matter how much hardware upgrade you get with a PC, its not going to change the fact that major publishers and developers target the console market first so....
[QUOTE="loco145"]They both look very good. Anyways not everyone who owns a PC has a GTX 680, so only a few would be able to experience that tech demo at full quality on a PC. And none owns a Ps4. Shouldn't we be comparing it with the Ps3 then?PS4:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNuIzOxOfn8

Yeah, but by the time the PS4 releases, Nvidia and AMD will release their new line of GPUs, and the 760ti (the one most people will buy) and the AMD equivalent will be around as powerful as a 680.Â

I doubt that. 760ti will be a little better than the 670 at best. A 670 beats the Ps4 GPU.You can have a NASA GPU, but consoles will still be the device to set the standards. Have fun running next-gen console ports with constant upgrades.

the 660ti is better than the 580 so he is actually right.

You do know that this demo was created before the PS4 press conference, right? That mean that: 1) It's not running on final PS4 specs 2) They rushed it in order to make it work by the press conference date 3) Everything in the video is subject to change with further optimization.
Again, consoles =/= PC. Let the PS4 come out first and then start comparing graphics.
Not with 8gb DDR5 ram, oh no. It's the most technologically advanced console ever invented and we have Sony to thank for that. By gamers, for gamers. Thank you Sony. Heil68Thank you Sony! By gamers for gamers, pregnant gamers birthing gamers.
[QUOTE="emgesp"][QUOTE="cfisher2833"]I doubt that. 760ti will be a little better than the 670 at best. A 670 beats the Ps4 GPU. On paper yes, but we don't know the full potential of the PS4's GPU since devs have low-level access to the hardware unlike PC development.Â

consoles you cant upgrade the gpu so it will never comparepc gamers are so self conscience

PS4 shouldn't be compared to PC since that's an always evolving platform. There are new CPUs and GPUs every 6 months(?). What is important is the leap from PS3 to PS4 and let me tell you, it's pretty big.
Â
Even if you build the most powerful rig right now with the best parts you can find, that rig will be outdated within 6 months too.

I wouldn't be surprised if they ignored him as well.Duh, PC will always be better, it's about the games.layton2012I've been saying, "it's about the games" for I don't know how long. The hardware aren't going to be much different and the games are all going to look about the same anyways. Who cares. I want to see the new games and see how they play more then anything else.

I doubt that. 760ti will be a little better than the 670 at best.Uh the 680 is only a little better than the 670, so that would put the 760ti at the 680 level at least
It won't be that bad. Price are already going to drop $80-$100 in the next 9 months (they might even drop even further due to the 8000 series/gtx 700 series coming out). A mid range 8000 series card should perform near GTX 680 levels (at worse gtx 670 levels) and the 760ti should be on par for less than $300.lol
That card will still be more the more expensive option when the PS4 comes out. Sorry.

lol

by the time the ps4 release the GTX680(or equivalent) will be mid range card, so it will be cheap. last year bought2 HD7950(and OC them to 1200Mhz) for £460 both, and this gpu set up is around 2 times more powerfull than a single GTX680 and around 4 times more powerfull than ps4, so the point is that ps4 is 4 times weaker than a gpu setup that cost $460 and it will be almost 22 months old by the time ps4 hit the shelf.
Oh my god half the responses in this thread are idiots. You have the Lemmings come in with their crap and then you have the PC gamers come in with their stupid superiority "my video card is worth more than your baby" complex, and then then you have the TC who doesn't even know what point he was trying to make with the thread to begin with. PS4 is already dated with it's GPU but the WiiU is miles ahead of the curve right? And the 720 also. The 720 comes with three Nvidia GTSX+ Turbo chraged and surpercharged video card that can sense when your kids get out of school and will deploy a car to go pick them up for you. It also has 10,000 gddr5 ram and also has tthree core i87 processors built in. One for gaming, one for the UI and background runners and one that scratches your nose for you so you dont have to pause your freaking game. Your controller is water cooled and so are the plastic cases the games will come inwasted_wisdom
Someone's a bit touchy. No one is commenting on the 720 because it hasnt been officially announced and the specs havent been revealed. Â Jesus, is it that time of the month?
Isn't this expected?
Sony are trying to provide next gen at a decent price not have the lastest high end graphics on the market, times have change to when the PS3 launched.
Anyone can build a PC right now that is more powerful than the PS4 provided you have the money to dish out for it.
Who cares what PC does. You pay all that money and at the day all your're gonna get is 360 ports anyway. Cry more.Â
