Ok, that's even better!

Sony already confirmed a Q4 release. That's from Oct-Dec. So basically, an Aug or Sept release date is a bit of a stretch.

If i buy the PS4 before DKS2 i might not be as interested in it when it comes out.

I know this thread has taken a wacky turn but in all seriousness, if the PS4 does release in October before the X1 in November, it would be a pretty big blow to MS. There are tons of people with poor impulse control that will buy whichever console comes out first. Its a big reason why the 360 had such a big lead this gen, many people just HAD to have a new console and bought the 360 because it hit the market first. I know we are only talking probably a month difference here, but with all the momentum Sony seemingly has and the negative PR for the X1, many people will use the earlier release as an excuse to grab a PS4 (if they can get their hands on one). I have both preordered from Amazon and decided to wait until just before release tomake my final decision (though I am leaning X1). Even I would have to admit that if the PS4 came out a month earlier, it would be hard to hold off...

Thats a joke right? They could release Jan 1 2014 and still beat MS with those stupid policies (who care if they changed them, the damage is already done)

I'm still going to guess November. Can't wait though. Hopefully October. That would mean I'm picking up PS4 a month earlier than I pick up XB1. Sounds good to me.
