PS4 more power than most computers says Ready at Dawn

Um, I would assume a freaking WiiU is more powerful than most computers. Most computers are stuff from like 2005, and even then, not gaming rigs.

The PS4 is not more powerful than most gaming rigs, because most gaming rigs start from mid to high end.

My pc is a bit more powerful than the ps3, not by much. The ps4 destroys my pc. I think even the Wii U does. my pc is over 5 years old though

We'll it ain't more powerful than mine. So I still don't want one. At least until next year at some point.

Valve already said that the majority of Steam users don't have computers anywhere near as powerful as next gen consoles. This is not news.

Thats true. Only a few PC gamers have rigs with better specs than PS4, especially when tablets are what are selling now to costumers, not semi-powerfull laptops. Only PC gamers that build their own desktops have better specs than PS4 and those are few

Wich are two of the greatest PSP games. Why is their opinion less important than a home console dev? I'm prerry sure they're more than enough capable of talking about programming

And how mnay people have a PS4? Probably less than a few hundred right now. It'll probably take PS4 a good 2 years to catch up to the install base on the PC with similar or more powerful hardware. Yet you don't seem as eager to dismiss the PS4.....

Funniest thing is the VAST majority of console gamers don't have consoles as powerfull as PS4 either. Do they? So this is a stupid statement. Just like console gamers who will upgrade to the PS4 over the next few years pc gamers will update their hardware too. Most steam users PC's from what I saw beat current Gen consoles, ya know, the ones 99.99% of console gamers currently have

I'm saying in average. For all the 3 consoles to reach a 80 million sales total it didnt took longer than 2/3 years. How long did PC reach those 12 million? Btw, how did you even find that number? Didnt a survey on steam recently reveled most steam users had below average PCs?

It took almost 8 years for consoles to reach those numbers.

And on PC there hasn't been much of a need to go high end. Any piece of crap PC cna play games better than the plastic toy boxes you call consoles.

That's going to change as this generaiton gets in gear. My numbers are super conservative too, I didn' take the new 65 million Steam users number into account AND not every PC gamer is part of the steam survey AND now that games are requiring higher specs, people are upgrading.

The only real good PC vs Console argument that can be made is that it gives first party developers a unified platform. So companies like Naughty Dog can optimize and design based around a known set of specs.

@Vatusus: What so your combining all three platforms against one lol And I never said anything about 12 million pcs.The steam survey only represents a portion of pc gamers and that's only on steam and its optional many people did not take it.
