Those are just the EU countries affected, so there are others. Says so right in the article. To put it in perspective these are the effected nations:
dercooBahrain, Lebanon, Romania, Oman, Slovakia, Malta, Cyprus and Iceland.
and how many for xbox1 ?!To put it in perspective these are the effected nations:

 This is weak ownage even by your weaksauce standards Timbers. These are the countries that won't have access to PS4 online at launch: Bahrain, Lebanon, Romania, Oman, Slovakia, Malta, Cyprus and Iceland.
Compared to M$ that is blocking out the whole of Asia, the whole of Africa and majority of Eastern Europe and South America. To top it off if you live in a country where the XB1 is supported and don't have a strong internet connection you'll still be blocked.
EDIT: I also forgot PS4 is not region locked. Which means you can make an account in a different country if your country doesn't have a store. Tsk....tsk... Timbers, you fail hard yet again.
difference between MS and Sony on this matter seems to be
"Sony has made every effort to roll features out to every country interested" while MS is the company telling you to go buy another product. At least on the ps4, you can still play games offline or import a system if you seriously have to. Hell, you might be able to just say you are from a supported country and change the region because of the lack of region lock.
There's no PS3 store for my country yet I have no problem using the US store, the UK store, the EU store, the Japan store and the Hong Kong store.kuraimenAnd you can, If you ever get a PS3.
"we are considering every measure to offer PlayStation Store services to these territories as soon as possible."
Does that sound like "F*** those countries, buy a ps3" to you? From what I understand, those countries can't access the store on the ps3 either. The x1 is unavailable to pretty much all of Asia and South America who can not buy or play the system in any compacity.
Yeah this is totally comprable.
Exactly timbers is being dumb and butthurt as ususal.difference between MS and Sony on this matter seems to be

The countries affected are relatively small: Bahrain, Lebanon, Romania, Oman, Slovakia, Malta, Cyprus and Iceland
And you can also make an account on a different Store (just like Ps3). Problem Solved
You can probably tie your PS+ account to a different country like the PS3. Of course they might reduce the number of users per console, so you might be stuck on that account when the service is instated in your country,
LMAO.
Could people in Iceland not just make a Eurpope or USA account?
Mrmedia01
IKR? People must have forgot about no region lock.
[QUOTE="handssss"]Exactly timbers is being dumb and butthurt as ususal. Flexibility-->open-->honest, the Sony way. The Timbers way? http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/profile/index.php?user=WarTornRuston Sad times indeed.difference between MS and Sony on this matter seems to be
