PS4 Outpacing Xbox One Pre-Orders

Polls are putting PS4 massively a head of Xbox One, yet the pre-orders are showing Xbox One is still selling even with all the negative press. Ignoring the morons that will simply say we are idiots for doing so, Microsoft have set out there plans and people are still buying because they like the games and the benefits/opportunities it gives. Microsoft its simple stick to your guns, include a game or two the $499 price and use the digital store to sell games for less than you can get on PS4 and you will have a big success initially. Follow this up with an offline mode like steam has and I think you might just win this next gen war everyone is shouting about. tdkmillsy

Micro Shiz had a year headstart, priced way lower for years, and PS3 was difficult to develop for and they still couldn't win this gen.

So how could they have a chance to beat Sony when Sony does everything right?!

Sony beat themselves with PS3. They are the only ones who can beat them.

Possibly in the U.S. they could be neck and neck, but Sony has the rest of the world wrapped up. 

Of course the cheap PS4 will sell better, most people buy what ever is the cheapest.

Scalpers...look at the games and acessories being pre-ordered and that will show better picture.

It has only just begun. Besides that Americans totally dig their Microsoft consoles. Everywhere else though? Won't sell nearly as well.

It's good that people are going for a console that is designed to play games.

Not surprising, Sony's outsold them since they've entered the industry, in the long run. With them launching simultaneously, I would expect Sony's more popular platform to sell better.

Also we dont know if they will be neck and neck at all, how can you act like its granted? History teaches us that even well established brands can fail in this industry. What you think about Xbox brand people like you thought about Atari brand 20 years ago.

All we know is PS4 is currently outselling Xbone in terms of pre orders even in USA (and 3:2 is quite a big difference) which even I didnt expect. And its granted that the gap is bigger in the rest of the world.
