Bought the Wii U at midnight launch and that didn't have problems, Nintendo was new to online too! We can assure Xbox Live won't have any problems since Xbox Live in the gold standard for online console gaming.

Was the PS4 rushed? Missing rubber, crashing during Knack, bricking during the update. Seems like them hiring students to build their hardware for barely any pay bit them in the ass.

Launch day, everyone is hammering the servers right now. That's to be expected.

Doesn't help that they don't have an existing huge datacenter infrastructure around the world either and have to rely on leasing it from other companies.

just got done with it. only problem i had was i couldnt get get onto Uplay, but that seems to be Ubisoft's fault.

No surprise to me at all, Sony has just started collecting payments for online. They might need to do an upgrade before an improvement in servers.

If they can't handle a million users at once, what good is the "new and improved" PSN? A paid service now to boot
