My first argument was that software wise, Microsoft is doing much better, with many more features compared to ps4. Then I said that they also did better on the games front because they had better games, I never said more.

And yes in my opinion it's better because all media is paid, and therefore their opinions are invalid, atleast that's what I gathered from what you said before. So we can't really compare libraries, except our own taste, so we'll never discuss games again, because it's only own opinions, not based on facts, so what's the point? There goes SW subforum, no use of this anymore, which is completely based on articles from paid media, with sometimes some sales info.

Where is 13 million for Xbox One coming from? Last announcement was they would soon hit 10 million shipped and that was mid November so would have included the majority of their holiday allocations, even assuming they had another 1 million to ship before the end of the year that puts their shipped figure at between 10.5 and 11 million units. Actually sold through units is probably in the 9 - 10 million range.

Looks like they are around 10 million sold right now. They probably don't want to announce 10 million sold because they'll look pretty bad after their November pr statement. The gap will probably stay around 2:1 throughout the gen.

World wide there just isn't competition. PS4 will always have a sizable lead in terms of install base world wide. One could argue that the US makes up 48% of all consumer goods so winning NPD is in fact a big deal when closing a gap. But if the over all world wide sales keep on being substantially higher for the PS4 every month, it doesn't matter how much of the XB1's sales are from the US, the over all number is still lower. I do think XB1 has a chance to grasp US and the UK over PS4 by a margin, but no where near the difference between the PS3 and 360 in those markets.

I think it's better that you read again, what I said. I laughed at the software support because I thought he meant features, UI, updates etc. So just because you read Software = games, doesn't mean I have to.

I would think that a review from media outlets would have more value than 1 opinion from 1 random person on the internet, which is not the same as multiple opinions from multiple people to get a decent average.
