You're really, really bad at this. Like, Pachter levels of bad. Actual NPD rep:

That's his prediction. It could be wrong, but I can see it with a price cut to $250 in spring or summer, a Pokemon launch in November, and a $199.99 + free game Black Friday 2018 deal. I predict 3.5-6 million total sales in the US next year for Switch, depending on what they do. 4.5-6.5 million in Japan and 2.5-4.5 million in the rest of the world for a total of 10.5-17 million next year. It's a wide range, but there's a lot Nintendo can do to restore Switch's momentum before it dies off. If the January direct is bad though, you can shave a couple million off.

so switch won online november and ps4/xbox won retail?

then who won overall?

No, the result posted earlier was overall.

guess we'll have to wait for PR statements from nintendo, sony and xbox..

Sony gave PR and Nintendo and Microsoft won't give PR since they lost.

Look, don't get your hopes up. I'm warning you. Everything is pointing to dead last for Switch. I know you're in denial, but you need to accept it. The Adobe report was based on page views, not actual sales data.

Actually, wait, the report is preliminary data which in fact does not include online sales. Switch is still last-place for sure, but it might still have a respectable number. Hopefully it's over 900K at least.

Zhuge confirmed that the ranking is correct but that the numbers are a little off since they were based on earlier data.

And this is the problem with all of your predictions. You make wild swings based on anecdotal or small sample data ( a week, a month) to make predictions on how Switch will do. Your are purely incapable of looking at larger trends or incorporating historical data, and you make click bait threads and posts that extrapolate major assumptions from meaningless data points. "A new gaming tablet is coming out! R.I.P. Switch!" "Sales dropped in Japan this week. The system is dead!" "PS4 and XB1 had a bigger Black Friday! Switch will sell 20 million less units than I thought!" "Switch is in stock in Amazon! It's flopping!"

Every prediction you make, you have to follow up with an, "Actually, wait..." because you make all of your claims without enough information in the first place.

@techhog89: it'll likely be huger than 900k since christmas is the time to have loads of stock ready. Its the time of year people wait to get a new console since they have multitudes of obligations throughout the year. Thankfully Ninte do responded with more stock.I'd say sony underestimated how much stock they'd need for the holiday sales. MS on the other hand Im not so sure when I go to my local walmart they always have Xboxes in stock (even some X models). Either the brand is not selling much or MS did what nintendo and ramped up their console supply ahead of time.

Stock isn't the bottleneck for Switch in the US anymore. Anyone who wants one can get one in a week or less.
