Dat SDC. Seems Sony is limiting stock to prepare for their huge Japan launch next month. Dat insane demand is outstripping the supply. It's only natural that when you are part of the live, learn, and love philosophy everyone wants to be part of your movement.

The pitfalls of launching is so many countries on top of getting ready for the Japan release. Easier to restock only a few vs many.
Yep but unlike what happen with the xbox one now that stores are saturate by them on US because it peak,you won't find PS4 any where they are all sold out,and as soon as they arrive they are gone,so if sony release 1 million between all those countries they will be gone in a day,while MS has thousands of xbox one across stores on US not selling,those units now on part where the xbox one hasn't release would at least be moving a little faster,we have now 2 different strategies sony's one is paying,they may not have enough units to keep up with demand,but they are selling everything they have which isn't happening on MS side.

Where I live it's a case of Sony taking forever to replenish stock. X1s in a store near me sold out too but they got stock back in recently where PS4s are due at the end of the month

I can answer it with exact certainty, & I'm a Sony guy. It's selling well & sometimes it's in stock & sometimes it sells out fast. I've seen them in stock at times & then out of stock at times. More Ps4s have sold worldwide & it seems like the PS4 is more sought after than the X1. I have no idea as to how well either companies production is going. I do know that Sony is selling in more countries & that is probably making it more difficult to have in stock in the U.S.

Lets see it started selling out,all of the sudden xbox one every where, non stop and even that it had units on December it didn't sold 1 million units,only like 40k more than the supply constrained PS4,then photos online begin to appear from different store showing mounts of xbox one,every damn store has it walk in,i personally took pictures in walmart 2 different days and the 2 xbox one available 1 on the 24 and then on the 28,oh and here is Puerto Rico that is even odder because you well know we have Los Reyes which is basically the same as Santa,not only we give presents on the 24 but also on the 6 of January and still the xbox was easy to find,yet no PS4.

Totally agree. Cows are easily the most flamboyant, hyper-active and ignorant fanboys of the lot. I'm partial to Sony and Nintendo games and systems, and used to favor Microsoft at the beginning of last gen, but stopped supporting them towards the end of said gen.

It is am embarrassment to all gamers when people act like that on a public forum. Is it any wonder the term "gamer" is still directed at kids, nerds, and people who don't go outside? If people acted like Cows on a daily basis I would completely understand if Mother Nature sent a comet to blow us the **** up/ If people like Cows are the best humans have came up with, we deserve to be extinct.

Nothing happens. And since heil68 is doing favors for them he is safe as well. Sad what this board became. People will say I am butthurt of course......and maybe I am. But I also can safely say I have both systems so I know the truth about what is good or bad. I don't have to strait up lie and be a cumtwat.
I can get both pretty easily, both will sell steadily now but if you look you should be able to pick up both without too much effort. That's a good thing after how Microsoft and Nintendo handled last gen launches having nothing for months (especially the Wii), good to see they are keeping a healthy stock.
