***PS4 Top Selling Console in November in the US***

So, what else is different in the alternate timeline you come from where the Xbox One gets "no games"(which would mean Final Fantasy XV, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and other games don't come to the system and it must have even worse support then the Wii U.

I'm asking a serious question because you imply the Xbox One has "no games". Which means not only are there no games from the past on the system, but there are no current releases, nor any future games on the system.

Which is kinda funny given many major titles are coming to the Xbox One next year.

It was Quack that said Microsoft and Nintendo aren't thriving so that's why they're releasing new hardware next year. Lolwhat but failed to mention how Sony released new hardware within weeks of each other back to back to back before the year ended but can't explain to you why that is LOL. Congrats to Sony on selling a lot of PS4s. I remember when the Wii was selling like crazy too but the other consoles continue to thrive. Next year the other two will have new and exciting hardware and console gaming will remain to thrive. The holy trinity, Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation are here to stay!

Also this should put to the myth that releasing exclusives in Fall matters and that Microsoft wins in holiday season in the US. They have lost 3 out of 4 Novembers this generation(the biggest month). It is about to be 2 out of 4 Decembers which would be 3 out of 4 if the PS4 wasn't supplied constrained at launch.

Like Microsoft , since day 1 , didnt offer huge price cuts , coupons , free games , bundles over and over in order to even think to be competitive. They even cut out Kinect from original model and all that just to win in US alone for couple of a months out of 3 years !!? lol !!!

Majority of those who supposedly waiting for Scorpio are already PS4/Pro owners.Even die hard lems of this board ( others too ) that were "hating" on PS3 and SONY last generation now are in peace lol.

Of course the PS4 sold more and will continue to sell more and never stopped selling more globally. It's the bigger and better brand with "real" exclusives. All those bundles from MS and those "fake" exclusives that are also on PC flopped. Uncharted 4 has outsold both Gears and Halo combined this generation lo and outsold every Xbox game this year (though there were not many). Also the standard PS4 was the best selling sku for November as it was number one on Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop. The PS4 pro just made people wait to see if there would be a bundle or some deals. The Xbox One S only provided a slight boost because of Xbox fans upgrading. Notice their software sales were never up YOY and the so called moment didn't last long. It took the PS4 sales to slightly decline for Xbox to sell better anyway. PS4 over 50mil while Xbox is barely over 20mil after 3 years. Ouch! Next year is going to be even more of a slaughter.

Also all third party sells much better on PS4 (even COD and BF) so those games are practically irrelevant on Xbox lol. Scorpio was not even in the making until Sony admitted the Pro was coming and MS decided to lie about it's existence at E3. If the Scorpio was already planned then there would be no XBOS because Scoprio would have released instead. Only Xbox fans will upgrade and Scorpio will fall flat as the XBOS has. Shame really. No they didn't. It's obvious because MS would have had both released. Here's some logic for you. Why would MS let Sony beat them with the Pro? Notice they beat Sony with the slimmer Xbox. Duh. Sony always releases a slimmer console and it had no added features like UHD as the S added. MS needed something to make the S appealing so it is not simply a slimmer Xbox like the PS4. Nothing has contradicted my comment, you just don't understand the logic. Regardless, Xbox sales are poor. That's why they don't give sales, but when they did back in September Xbox One was only at 22mil. Don't hate the truth man. Answer this question, why is the Scorpio releasing a year and a half after announcement? Why even announce it that soon right after Sony said the Pro was coming? Because MS is just reacting to Sony and just started working on the Scorpio, that's why.

This has already been talked about and is not up for debate, Xbox One S and Scorpio began development at the same time, that's a fact.

The S is a much more similar console to the original Xbox One and largely of the same design so it's easy to understand why it made its way to the market before Scorpio.

They just announced 50 million sold and the PS4 pro just released. PS4 has won the gen and it has been this way for years.

So would I. MS announced the Scorpio after Sony said Pro was coming. Then MS announced specs after PS4 Pro was revealed in September. Notice every time Sony said something about the Pro, MS made a claim that the Scorpio would have this and that but of course no exclusives lol.

This is factually wrong, Microsoft announced Scorpio and its specifications in unison at E3 in June, information for the Neo leaked prior to this but there was no official announcement for the device until September 7th, 3 months after Scorpio was announced.

No you are wrong. Sony admitted PS4 Pro before E3 and said it would not be at E3. Look it up. MS announced Scorpio at E3 with no specs and just said it would be powerful, facts. Look at MS E3 2016 on youtube.

I find it intriguing how people automatically think the Pro is the sole reason why there's a good amount of PS4s sold. Why is everyone forgetting that there were and are good PS4 Slim bundles at competitive prices. There were hardly any Pro deals, there were and are more Slim deals. I wish NPD showed better data by showing more detailed info by the SKU. They don't even show which system sold which games anymore too I believe. But yeah, SW should stand for Sales Wars now lol. Lastly I'm curious how does hardcore PC gamers feel about these console sales war?

Uhhh ...the Pro is still a PS4 so yeah of course they are combining since you know it is a PS4 and not a new console. PS4 slim was the top selling console on Black Friday and November, but it doesn't matter since PS4 dominated. I guess you could say PS4 and pro were both bigger than any one Xbox bundle since they are all counted together too.

LOL right. The Xbox One S actually has a new feature like UHD and HDR, which the original Xbox didn't have. PS4 Pro has nothing standard PS4 doesn't. Just better resolution and more power. Looking at Amazon the best selling Xbox has been the discounted original models anyway and not the S.

The Xbox One base is no longer in production, just as the PlayStation 4 base is no longer in production.

Any sales of both of these consoles is the result of remaining stock on hand, Sony currently has two console options still being manufactured, Microsoft has one.

It may not be in production, but i seen many Xbore1 on hand a retailers I visited in a few states on my holiday travels. I also seen some on online stores. That doesn't change the validity of my statement.
