Deep Down is the only game that has me excited. Quantum Break would be runner up.

The PS4 list really blows the ONE list out of the waterYoshiYogurtReally?? have you actually seen the current announced list for both games. PS4 has a load of indie games going for it, but take them out and Xbox One has the more and bigger games coming to it. Yes you can get a lot of games on both consoles on PC, but to say the PS4 list is way better is just wrong.
PS4. I can see why someone would choose either of them, but for me PS4 due to Infamous and because KZSF seems to have a lot of potential, as does The Order.

PS4, not even close. Also need to keep in mind that Microsoft is not going to money hat 3rd party publishers for exclusives the entire generation, Sony will continue pumping out quality games from its first party.
ps4 all the way .Sony didnt blow their load at e3 but we all know sony is known for making a lot of exclusive games..Just look at the PS3..imagine the new uncharted or the last of us on the ps4..it be amazing.. ...dead rising will come to the ps4 i but sooner then everybody expect it.. you should put some indie games on the list. looking forward to this game..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni02F7l4lAg

yup a lot of people who got their hands on it at e3 said it was one of the best looking game at e3.ign said they are a believer now..i cant wait to play it on my ps4 at launch..
Xbox One has the superior lineup. I wonder if Microsoft can continue the trend as well, or slack back five years from now like they started doing in 2010.Stevo_the_gamer
I dont see a scenario where Microsoft continues to moneyhat third party publishers for the entire generation. Meanwhile Sony still has teams at Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, Sony Santa Monica, Quantic Dreams, and Guerilla Games that still havent announced games yet.

Microsoft still hasn't shown all their games they've been working on; but the difference is that all the new first party studios Microsoft has invested in hasn't really proven themselves yet compared to Sony. But Microsoft might have the advantage when it comes to DD only games, and put up a worthy fight in the retail market. I only wonder if the retail fight will continue after half the generation has passed.X1 game lineup looks a lot better right now. You would have to be a fanboy to deny that.Miketheman83
I prefer the PS4's line-up.
Sue me.
Your first sentence was correct, the second one is bullsh1t. Sony have bought up plenty of timed exclusive and 'we get DLC first' deals. They're both guilty of that BS. Sony have certainly shown with the PS3 that they support the hell out of their platform. MS seem to have announced that they will follow suit, but you never know with them after how they treated the 360. They might support the hell out of it for a few years then forget it exists. One company makes and supports their machine with far more 1st party exclusives, the other makes a few 1st party exclusives and buys timed exclusives deals.

Most PlayStation exclusives are either wannabe Xbox games or wannabe Nintendo games. You can nearly always find a better alternative on another system. Only very few games stand up on their own merit.
I think if Titanfall is your main reason of interest in an Xbox One, you should seriously consider a PC. PC is gonna be the way to go for basically everyone except some very peculiar cases or tastes. Last gen there was less of a reason to get a PC than this gen and I think that line is going to keep going that way for a while. If you're seriously limiting yourself because you don't want to look into it or because of some loyalty to a company then that makes me sad.
I'm still gonna say I told you so.
[QUOTE="SolidTy"]Is all bold the new all caps now?One company makes and supports their machine with far more 1st party exclusives, the other makes a few 1st party exclusives and buys timed exclusives deals. Those games almost always release later on the other platform or platforms.
The thing is though, we know very little about any of them and how they will turn out, score, rate, etc...so, we'll see. I have both machines reserved in the first shipment, so I'll find out soon enough.
We can however, look up developers and their track record and metascores on their games...and that's when things get easier to predict.
I've already done that, so I'm not too excited for the Dead Rising 3, RYSE, or for instance.
I will enjoy Quantum by Remedy when that releases, but if Alan Wake is anything to go by, that could take 5+ years.
Alan wait was shown off before the 360 came out(!), and I waited a LONG, LONG, LONG time HYPing the game for years before it released only to find it was drastically changed anyways. I will enjoy that though.
Finally, there are many unannounced exclusives that both companies just aren't talking about ( for example, 30 1st Party PS4 Games in Development by SONY Worldwide Studios themselves, 20 of those games are Out in First Year, 12 New IPs ). This is because Xbox and Playstation don't want to overshadow or cannibalize their sales of new IPS like The Order, RYSE, Deep Down, Crimson, Sunset, Quantum, or KNACK.
tl;dr
1.) One company makes far more 1st party exclusives, the other company relies on temporary timed exclusives to fill the widening gap.
2.) We know very little, but going by developer history, choices are much easier to make.
3.) Many unannounced exclusives inbound

The new?
I realize you are brand new to Gamespot.com, you are a Lv. 4 account with 37 posts. You made your account a few days ago on June 14th, 2013 but this is hardly something new for me.We have seen a huge influx of reputation management employees creating accounts recently at GS, hopefully you aren't one of those. :P
This has been my style since my very first post in SW back in 2005. I know I have inspired a few other posters at GS, but rest assured I'm my own man.
Furthermore, I have been doing this far before 2005 at GS, as I have been online doing posting bold/colors since the late 90's. ;)
Welcome to GS, I see this is your 37th post, I look forward to seeing what your 38th post may bring. You may want to try to post about the actual content of the thread once in a while as your post seems to be about a user instead of the users words.
I know sometimes my posts are bulletproof, so in desperation people seek another way to discredit the words, but I don't know you so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. In my very long experience in SW though, extreme fanboys resort to such sad tactics because they can't argue with an airtight post. Again, I will assume you are a new account that isn't one of those sad users I've dealt with and pwned in the past.
That said, this thread is about PS4 vs. Xbox One Exclusives...what is your opinion on the actual subject?

I didn't even go into the CODishness of Dead Rising 3's reveal (or the fact that Blue Castle/Capcom Vancouver's direction for DR2 was a let down). Capcom did the same for the 360 with Dead Rising 1 and Lost Planet 1. Wouldn't be surprised of a DR3 Sigma when Capcom decides to pull a RE4 with DR3, although I am not interested after DR2.
My other disappointment was finding out that they had Double Helix touch Killer Instinct. No matter how much help RARE (who themselves have been gutted) pitches in, they should have partnered what is left of RARE with a talented Fighting developer like Capcom, Namco, Sega, SNK, Netherrealm, etc. Instead, they have to work with Double Helix and try to salvage the KI brand. I hope that turns out well. This is what I mean by following developers.
Yeah, that CODized aspect of the game made a whole lot of sense :?, I guess the mechanic got military authorization somehow...
Knowing Capcom (RE4, Dead Rising 1, Lost Planet) and knowing M$ published 3rd party history (Ninja Gaiden 2, Sine Mora, Mass Effect, Gears of War, and more), that game is one of the timed exclusives I was talking about.

Ninja-Hippo
That's bullshit.
It's rather humorous because I never argued or denied that, and in fact over the many years I've noted that Sony was pitting fire against fire with their closing of some studios and buying timed exclusive content. That's beside the point since my post was long enough.
That statement is correct, and I didn't bring up names of the companies. I just stated the truth. You brought in a different point and wanted to single out the companies directly.
I said, "One company makes and supports their machine with far more 1st party exclusives, the other makes a few 1st party exclusives and buys timed exclusives deals. "
A completely different topic and statement would be, "One company buys less timed exclusive content, and the other buys far more timed exclusive content."
That would also be true. You failed to assign a quantity on which company relies on timed exclusive more, but you wanted to ensure it's recognized Sony does it. Yes, they do...and it's well known to me as I've spoken about it a great many times. Sony doesn't do it as much as M$ though. That is the difference between the two companies. One relies on making more games buying less content. The other relies on making less games and buying more content.
My post was long enough though. I can certainly understand you wanting to discuss this and maybe add to the post, but you are incorrect to assume that my post denied something I never addressed. I typed a lot, it's nigh impossible to cover everything in a post.
As far as Sony supporting the hell out of the PS3, this is true, but I would point out Sony showed a strong support regarding 1st party with the PS2 platform as well. A few things about what I've noticed is based on history and my direct involvement. I have been with Xbox since inception and I have been with Sony since PSOne. Considering I have bought 100% of the high scoring 1st party exclusives for the Xbox, PSOne, PS2, Xbox 360, and PS3...I definitely have a handle on what I expect from both companies. I made the leap at launches, I bought the quality 1st party games, I played the games, when applicable, I've proven these things. I'm not a lame bystander with an inexperienced opinion that has less involvement with either brand, less experience playing/supporting the games with my buying power, and less machines experienced.
You wanted it known that both companies buy deals, so in that I can agree, but one company does it far more than the other. In fact, one company seemingly relies on those timed exclusive deals to fill the gap created by the other companies incredibly strong 1st party support. What does the future hold? If history is an indicator, we'll probably be seeing the same thing again this generation.
Yeah, that CODized aspect of the game made a whole lot of senseSolidTy
Why does it matter if it doesn't make sense? It's over the top action. Does it also make sense to set a pair of boxing gloves on fire and attack zombies in melee combat while wearing a speedo? Or how about a lightsaber instead? It's part of the fun.

Gamers complain that DR3 is becoming more "serious", and also complain that it's not "realistic"

Personally, I prefer the PS4 lineup of games.
hmm.. I'm interested in Forza, Quantum Leap and Killzone. So I guess for exclusives, I'm leaning more towards XboxOne at the moment.
And it's no brainer that I would prefer PS4 for multiplats that aren't on PC (e.g. Metal Gear Solid, The Division) as they'll most probably perform better on that platform.
But since we're talking exclusives, I'd pick XboxOne at the moment.
Edit : on second thought, I'm also interested in The Order. So I don't know. it's a draw for me. Good thing I pre-ordered both :)
Where I'm at right now -

[QUOTE="FoxbatAlpha"]X1 titanfall. Just stop and think before you says its not exclusive. Can you play it on that hunk of sh7t PS4? Thought so.ShoTTyMcNaDeSTo be honest, nobody will be playing this game for probably atleast 6 months after release of the consoles. The Xbots seem to think that TF is a launch or launch window game and it simply is not! Respawn doesn't have the ballz to launch TF against Ghosts, BF4 and even Killzone! The game would be sales/commercial disaster. So stop acting like on the day you get you X1 in November you will also be coming home with Titanfall. Where are u getting that I think it's a launch title from what I said. All that basement dwelling is going to your skull. When it does come out, I will be there to experience all it's awesomeness and you will still be waiting for your PS4 preorder. I'm not mad at you though.
I don't think the cows are too impressed with the PS4 line up, they are already port begging Killer Instinct and Titanfall :?
It's a tie for me. I like RYSE and Forza 5 but then I also would like to play Drive Club and Killzone. However, I think I would find myself playing Killzone and Drive Club more so PS4.coolkid93You're interested in drive club but not Forza? Lol. Sony fanboys have such a horrible taste in games.
