It's possible. But if I don't like the controller (I hated the DS3) it'll likely be the Xbox One for me.
Im buying a PS4 for Sony's Exclusives but this year i shall only be playing Call of Duty:Ghosts on it
Nope. I'm not willing to put up with a shoddy online service just for the potential of a slight bump in graphics.
Things like controller, OS features, Online service etc. are more important to me and XOne wins in those areas.
Shoddy online service?? Explain...Also, isn't the DS4 getting better reviews thus far? You can't speak for everyone. According to preorder numbers, you're in the minority.
Nope, sticking with PC. I typically buy consoles for the exclusives that I want to play, and what Sony offers just hasn't appealed to me for some time. That, and haven't liked that controller design since it was introduced on the PSX.

Online service seems to be the same crap we put up with on the PS3. Sure theres now cross game chat and small features like being able to play while you download. But where are the big improvements? XBL is improving voice chat, matchmaking, community features etc.
Plus dat PS4 UI is dreadful.
No thanks.

Deal with what exactly? Your opinion which seems to be in the minority? Doesn't seem like much to deal with but ok. Do some research on PS4s PSN upgrades and get back to me. You don't seem well informed.

how far gone down the pointless cognitive failure of a system warrior path have you gone to think that the playstation online is shoddy? I owned both and they were near friggin identical. seriously?
Dedicated servers for all games? SO? I was getting 30-40 ping in p2p games with no problems, oh sure the occasional drop out was expected. but ffs its not like you get the full controllable dedicated server experiance with a server browser like on PC. you get the same damn limited automatch system you always did now with 1% less hassle. well done.
stop overxagurating, your not fooling anyone, maybe your special self though.... thats clear.

The "XBL is superior" card is running dry now. PSN has every feature an online gamer needs plus freebies give it far better value than Live. Dedicated servers is overrated. If my opponents have a good connection, I never recieve a dropped game. Fanboys act as if PSN is unplayable when both services work the same for me.
I've learned my lesson to never purchase a launch console.
Yup, PS2 taught me that lesson. So did my brother's 360 breaking 3 times
Just buy a console warranty.

or i can just wait for a console to get a library worth getting excited over and see whats broken about both consoles and catch up on my backlog.

That's my plan, I'm expecting the impending release of GTA 5 on PC to suck up alot of my time.

Your choice, I don't really care. Just stating that people don't have to be paranoid about console reliability when there"s warranties out there.
PC for multiplats, X1 for TV/entertainment needs. Ps4 eventually for their first party games once they start coming out.
Buy a console for multiplats?
Psymon, you crazy
I'm asking a question. I never said I was adopting this behaviour myself.
I'd be one of the people playing multiplats on the PC (assumming my PC renders the games better than these consoles).
If I got a PS4, it would be to play exclusive games I find appealing. At the moment, I have no plans to get a PS4.

Thank you for your casual objectification.
I'll be using my X1 for all multiplats
1) controller - personal preference
2) better online - fact
3) ability to Que while doing other things and not having to wait in a lobby - PS4 doesn't have this

I am going to buy everything i want for that System. Any other console i get will be for the exclusives
@psymon100: hmm what are your pc system specs
Got two at the moment. One's just a Pentium G860, the other a core i3-3220. The G860 will be upgraded to an i5 ... eventually.
Both running the radeon 7850. Plan is to upgrade one to something like a 7950, then CrossfireX the other two. Ram I can't remember. I think I took some out the other day to help a friend haha.
My machines are dynamic. They probably don't sit around more than about 6 months without me upgrading something. I imagine keeping up with PS4 should be inexpensive ... I see something like a 7950 lasting a good long while.
PC Will probably be the one for most of my Next Gen multiplats. That being said I'll be getting Watch Dogs, and Assassin's Creed 4 on PS4/Xbone.
Either that or PC. First batch of multiplats I'm buying on PS4 because Ubisoft games AC4 and Watch Dogs have exclusive PS3/PS4 content. As for Battlefield 4, I don't use Origin so, I will get that on PS4.
If my PC starts running games halfassedly (and the PS4 doesn't), which might start becoming the case soon.
360 was my multiplat machine, though there are still some exclusive franchises I was highly invested in. With all of my 360 only friends jumping ship to ps4, it's definitely gonna be the machine I play multiplats on even if I were to decide to buy an Xbone at a later date.

Deal with the fact my opinion seems to upset you ... or why did you quote me in the first place?

And no. Ive done plenty of research on PSN because I was considering the PS4. Sony are doing f*ck all to improve it, unless you count useless services like Gaikai that aren't even available at launch an 'improvement'.
The fact you're telling me to research it instead or revealing these 'secret' improvements that I apparently don't know about just tells it all.
No thanks.
It'll be where most of my friends will be playing multiplayer games, so that's probably where I'll end up picking up those titles.
I will only be getting a PS4. However, since I have a gaming rig, I'll be getting any multiplatform game that I'm interested in and that is available on PC on PC.
@psymon100: I won't be buying a PS4 at launch. I made the mistake buying the PS3 at launch and regretted it. The PS3 slim is a better built system in my opinion. And the price was cut. I'm expecting it to be the same with the PS4. I'll be buying the PS4 once the slim one is released
Lol no.
The PC is the best system for multiplats.
this. PS4 is for console exclusives and sports games.
After owning Battlefield 3 on both consoles... never ever will i buy a multiplayer multiplat on PSN again, input lag, voip problems, drop outs, garbage service, garbage support from developers, garbage user base of mute noobs... its a mess, and not only on BF3. Features is not the biggest problem, stability is. BF3 was one of the best MP of the whole gen, destroyed by Sonys lack of experience with online... i dont see how they can catch up next gen, they are too far behind so the obvious choice for mp multiplats is the bone.
