You have to understand that I'm primarily a PC gamer and I have 20 odd other consoles, it's hard to dedicate time to any one thing.

Disagree, but that's because i like racing games first and foremost, the rest is meh to me.

Days Gone looks good for a purchase when the price drops. Bloodborne, killzone, uncharted, last of us, made the ps4 worth it for me. Would be cool for more exclusives. Sony has tons of exclusives they haven't used like Spyro, Armored Core, Siphon Filter, Jet Meto, Twisted Metal, God of War, DMC, etc.

Off the top of my head things are starting to finally get rolling in terms of Sony's exclusivity. I think they got the last of us 2, the new uncharted: the lost legacy, detroit: become human (Quantic dreams.), god of war 4. Those are all heavy hitters. then you got games like horizon dawn and a few others rounding out the rest of the pack. Things are starting to look really good for Sony.

I wish I could say the same for microsoft. Every time they have a game that does something new, original, innovative or all 3 their consumer sales for that game is well below expectations, ultimately leading to fewer and fewer game developers taking chances. Quantum break was a perfect example of this. They need to focus on what Sony did last gen with the ps3... invest in original and new IPs. Over time those games will win over gamers like it did for ps3, as long as the quality is there. Look at the juggernaut that Naughtydog became last gen.

I'm sure many of you out there remember many conversations involving people who owned xbox360s saying (I would love to play uncharted 2" or perhaps "Metal gear solid 4 or God of war 3 looks so cool." Then there were people who just wanted something new and different but never got to experience games like Heavy rain or beyond 2 souls. Microsoft needs to learn from Sony and Sony just needS to continue doing what made them great last gen and what ultimately will no doubt make them even greater in the minds of gamers this gen.

While it is not as good as the Xbox line up, it is good.

First of all: No, the PS4 is nowhere close to the Ps2 era and it'll never reach it.
I'm afraid we'll never see any gen like the Ps2 era.

When it comes to PS4 exclusives, they're all hit or miss with me, but most of them were disappointing. Sure there are some exclusives that are fantastic and (still) exclusive, but for every Disgaea 5 or Ratchet and Clank, there's also a Knack or Order.

I don't know much about the PS2 era since I was a Nintendo only fan back then. But the PS3 had far better and more exclusives than the PS4 has. I am more excited for the future exclusives on my PS4 than those on my Xbox One but that's just me. I hope for more and better exclusives on all platforms!

Good games but it's been 3+ years and right now there are only 4 actually good exclusives on the console. That aint that great tbh.

I can understand that and respect that. When it first came out on the PS3, I was like ROFL LMAO, don't waste my fucking time. Then I saw Flower and I was like, GTFO. But now I have a new appreciation for them. Maybe because it was a change of pace too. Now, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, THAT bored me to tears. But one mans trash is another man's treasure.

I've been turning my PS4 on lately, so that is a huge improvement over the last couple of years.

I wouldn't call it a great library of exclusives compared to most normal consoles, but the PS4 now has enough games to justify the price of the console (and you couldn't say that a year ago).
