Well some eagle eyed users have seen that the HDMI Cable that comes with the PS5 is not HDMI 2.1 compliant. So that means if you have or are getting a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 you have to buy your own cable
4K 120 is utterly impossible at this time unless you shell out like a lotta money. There's probably 1% of the population that even have the build to do 4k 120fps. And i'm not even counting Ray tracking.
Gotta cut those costs on the actual boxing of the console and the HDMI cable? Jeez. I have 2 cables capable of 4K/120 and I bought them last year... I don't even have a 4k/120 capable display yet.

Barely any difference, have 2 4K TV's sitting in this house. Happily opt for the closer 1080.
People call VR a gimmick, while paying thousand+ for that shit.

and your point? They are marketing this as a 8K/4K machine capable of 120HZ at 4K .. without a proper cable it cant do that.. they cheaped out
Something tells me that the coming week will be very stressful for me and my fellow cows. After the NDA lift, lots of hidden lies will be uncovered, and that's frustrating.

MS crapped the bed last generation with some very stupid decisions because they felt they had the momentum going in.. Sony is doing some dumb stuff this time around because they felt they had the momentum
I already have an HDMI 2.1 cable so this is a non issue.
good for you but that does not make it a "non issue" you should not have to go and buy a compatible cable for a system that says it is HDMI 2.1 because they decide to save about 4 or 5 bucks by shipping a non compliant cable with it

Sony was most likely expecting to sell the system at $600, but when MS announced their price, they had no choice but to match it. Now they're cutting corners everywhere they can.

It shouldn't be a problem for anyone dropping $500 on a console. You lems are looking for any way to compensate for having zero first party games.

Haha I bet there’s more they will cheap out on. Shitty cheap components, poor build quality, usual Sony cost cutting. They can’t afford to build quality.
Seriously this is your source and xbox site no one knows?
Should i bag this thread on the bag of your fake developer who claimed the PS5 had DLSS, and your fake thread about the fake inside of the PS5 which you delated?

While DF say they can't confirm anything on the OS level, one of them confirm the cable does function properly on his LG TV.
the video at that link the guy says "is the same one that ships with the PS4 Pro" even though someone in the comments is saying that the PS4 Pro did not ship with a cable (can someone confirm that?)
@NathanDrakeSwag: Did you even watch the video? They clearly say "It's the same hdmi cable that ships with the PS4 pro".
Did you watch the video i posted from DF and the link Zero posted now who has more credibility?
That site or DF and PSU?
You lemmings are a joke.😂
By the way this is not the first fake news your friend share here, he make a thread about the PS5 inside which he delete when some one exposed it was fake, and he make a thread about a fake PS developer as well which i shot down as well.
In other words TC is a very insecure lemming who love shitty sources and fake news.

Packing a console with the incorrect cables is as sad as packing a console with a wireless controller but without a rechargeable battery.
Ill await the extra damage control my comment will cause to some.
@tormentos: Yes, the link zero posted states that the cable shipped with the ps5 is the same one shipped with the PS4 pro, DF said "Surely this is a 2.1 cable, there has been some confusion" and closeups of the cable show it says "High speed", not "Ultra high speed" as required.
I mean, I don't care personally....but if Sony have shipped a console with 4k/8k 120 printed on the box with a 2.0 cable, that would be so petty.

Yeah did hear the part were he claim it work PROPERLY ON ITS LG CX?
Exactly as pretty as selling a console with a wireless controller with no rechargeable battery and which you people for 3 generations on a row including this new one defend.
The level of hypocrisy in your camp is out of this world.😂

Lol..."working properly" means he sees video. Nowhere did he say it's a 2.1 cable, and nowhere did he say 4k 120 is working properly.
Read it and weep cows. Sony cheaped you out again....😂😂😂

oof HaH
Microsoft owns Sega? You Xbots are so deprived of games that you don't even know what first party means. Gears Tactics 🤣😂🤣
I'll be enjoying the masterpieces Demons Souls and Miles Morales. Have fun waiting 2 years for games...that will probably suck because Microsoft directors are dropping like flies 😇
