Ps5 gets resident evil demo, xbox doesnt

@mtron32: Perhaps. I mean I won’t say that I’d never consider it as I haven’t used the Dual Sense myself but just going off of my current preferences I just don’t see it as a big enough draw for me personally. You never know though so we’ll see.

PS5 with the dual sense just makes any game way more immersive and impressive. As I said before I am glad I chose Sony over MS after a mild debate with myself over which one I would prefer. The dualsense is a huge advantage for games.

While this demo wasn't as effective as the one for VII, which did an amazing job at setting up the game, it's nice for showing off the graphics at least, which look good. I'm gonna be there day one regardless.

It's obviously stupid for anyone to buy a Series X over the PS5, but this thread exceeds even that level of idiocy. It's just a demo, a 20 min walking simulator at that, and not something to base a purchasing decision over.

You could've made an argument over exclusives. Instead, you devolved into the lowest form of intelligent being and made a thread arguing the superiority of a console over a demo.

Seems that the Xbox and PlayStation will get another demo later down the line so can wait for that. Plus the PS5 demo isn’t even from the game which seems daft for a game demo

This specific Demo YouTube is kinda good enough. But there's no denying that it's better having a Demo than not having a Demo.

The prison was surreal, the mansion was detailed to the brim. PS5 provided a vision, an experience that xbox could only dream of. Dualsense completed the immersion. I understand xbox doesn’t have the mental capacity to deliver this art, so they had to opt out.

They need to optimize it harder, tone down settings or drop resolution, the fps kinda tanks...

Whenever he is looking at the chandelier in the foyer there is frame rate drops, lowest I saw was 54 when no other characters were on screen. When he gets attacked by the vampire dressed in black it drops to 46fps

When that chandelier is not on screen and if there are no NPC's chasing him or on his screen then it is 60fps.

It was very nice of Capcom to give Sony players their walking simulator demo while everyone else gets the real demo in a few months time :D

Im sure Sony paying for a timed exclusive demo and marketing rights makes up for Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield.

That demo was so meh. I'm serious. The textures were really bad up close and the gameplay was okay. It had one jump scare that was so weak that even my youngest laughed. Not saying it won't be a good game overall but that demo was weak sauce.

Tbh this demo with no action has more things going for it than the medium.
