PSN is down and been down for hours.

Isn't funny how just days ago there was a report that Sony laid off more workers and their system crashes a couple of days later 🤣

@last_lap: I had actually signed up for PS+ the day it happened! I was planning to play Helldivers 2 on the weekend because I borrowed a copy. That evening, PSN didn't work, when I woke up it wasn't working either, but shortly after I was able to play online. I bought one month of PS+, but for a few hours of inconvenience I got 5 extra days. I feel a little lucky that it happened that way for me and I didn't miss much.

That would be like me saying that my Xbox 360 red ringed on Xmas day when I got Mass Effect for a Xmas present lol. Not quite as bad on your part I admit, but still annoying, oh by the way that was a true story 🤣

Its specially infuriating when I cant even play single player games because of required internet connection!

Tried to play Diablo 4, no luck, tried to play GT7, no luck... wtf

Diablo 4 and GT7 are online only games. It's annoying that they are insisting that GT7 be online only even when you're playing a single player mode.

Yikes! Imagine paying for online gaming and the company can't even keep the lights on...? Console gaming, what a mess.

@last_lap: Yeah, because I was asleep during the outage anyway and not planning to play until the next day. I got it that day so I could start downloading some stuff to play over the weekend, and it was still downloading during the outage. If I bought it a day later I wouldn't have got those free days.

If I was asleep during when my 360 had an RRoD, and when I woke up it not only started working again but lasted longer than it was originally going to, then I would have been happy. But instead it still didn't work, I had to pay for repairs because they were still trying to deny it was a problem, and I had 2 more RRoDs after that anyway. I got the RRoD when I was about 80% through Halo 3. After that, again, Halo 3. Another time I just turned it on and it was like that.

5 days of PS+ for 20ish hours of downtime. Awesome. LOL

@last_lap: do u game competitively? I don't. Maybe a round of rocket league from time to time.

Coop is fun though.

@TheEroica: The last time I played competitively was on Space Marine 2 PvP mode. I used to a lot back in the 360 days. But these days it's mostly sp or co-op.

But if you want to play competitively you stay far away from PC at all costs. It has by FAR has the most cheaters playing, to the point there's no point in playing PvP at all.
