Yeah you can delete it and download it again, but what are the chances that the fact that the PSN is STILL Slow and it would take a full day for a complete download!!!

its slow now but i read somewhere they are updating the servers and the ones they had now were just stand-ins, and it should happen sooner than later since sony just posted record profits for january, and they are launching in europe so they need more/ and new servers for the exra congestion coming in. and background downloading is being updated, so it wont be that much of a problem.

yeah ok :roll: it wasnt meant as a bash thread yet all the lemmings came in droves and took the bait of the title, i never mentioned anything bad in my first posts i only copy/ pasted what the 1up guy said, dont kill the messenger. this just proves how sensitive lemmings are when it comes to their pride and glory XBL even being mentioned for one second of being possibly inferior in one area.

I'm with you here. It sounds like a great idea to delete and reload a game that would probably take hours! I mean, a multi-gig game is not going to download quickly. Besides, does the PS3 still have where you can't do anything while downloading, or was that fixed? Cause that would suck to sit there and stare at a saving screen for hours.

Ownage approved anyway what playstations track recored on online gaming (not to great compared to xbl) it just wont keep up EVER the xbox/360 were built with online gaming in mind

Warhawk is so good that they decided to make it PSN exclusive!!!

Less backwards compatability rocks because we are looking towards the future!!!

I have cut my arm off but really its better for me that way because now I only need one glove!!!

Rofl Sony is soo stupid...

They say that games will use the full capacity of Blu-Ray, yet they are letting people download games on a 60 gig hard drive? What am I suppose to do? Delete 60 dollar games that I paid for, for more space in my hard drive?

I thought Blu-Ray games were going to have over 25 gigs easily.

Generally you can begin downloading a new game a few days before it comes out for retail.

PSN makes XBL look lieek dos, yor can do things that you can on xbox like talk to people AND talk to frends, lol the flopbox doesnt even have lunixlove-all-system

That isn't even English. Why the hell would 360 need Linux, its a game console. How does PSN make XBL look like a command line operated system? It has a User Interface! Also saying that PSN makes XBL look like DOS but it lacks Linux when about half the tasks you want to do in Linux will require you to use the terminal makes you look stupid IMO.

Warhawk is not an arcade game, I would prefer it on disc. did you read up kid ? space is not a problem cant you just delete it and download it over again later ? and my friend has a 250 gig HDD slapped on his ps3 and got it for cheap, 60 gigs is big enough but anyone can easily buy a decent forbidden you have been owned courtesy of ur daddy ;)

And you want your games to be ONLY multiplayer with no cutscenes.....um, you must be in denial. And trust me, I would rather have an arcade forbidden>

And I can use XNA creator to make my own games, and people can do that too.... :? But that is something I don't give a crap about. I want to buy games, not make my own (by the time I make a game I wouldn't want to play it). I want quality games on DISCS, and not some stripped down online game, that will take up too much darn space. Why would this be a good thing? I also want the option to sell my game if I don't need it anymore.

Thank you too :D That's what I am saying why should I pay extra money to fill my HDD with stripped down games. I would rather get a little arcade game on my console, and buy real games on discs in stores (or on ebay for cheaper), than get it for slightly less of more expensive on PSN, than get it stripped down to make a reasonable size on the HDD. No, TC. This is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard of, and will make the PSN look worse than XBL.....Look at my 360, I still have about 8GBs let, and I have lots of saves, music, arcade games, tv shows, and demos on it. And I am not really looking for a new HDD size. But at this rate the PS3's HDD will be full in no time.

PSN isn't getting TIVO it's getting downloadable movies like Xbox 360 has now (eventually is the key word here for that even). 360 is adding IPTV ,which is something totaly different than movie download, it will be streaming video. On top of that I already use my 360 as a PVR with media extender. Something sony promised but never delivered on was PVR functionality at E3 05 (kind of like the dual hdmi, 7 wirless controllers, all 802.11 wireless, dual gigabit ethernet, etc.)
