PSN+ seems good and all but...

If Sony is banking on this as some sort of money making thing then what will happen if enough people dont go for this service? Will they can it? Will they tie the online part into the price in a case like that? I dont think they would get rid of it as they still do have home.I dont think it will fly as Sony fans here have shown again and again that they are against having to spend money on anything exept for games.

Better worry about its success I think.

Sony has nothign to lose. Personally, if PSN is free, and I play majority of multiplayer on xbox live anyways, then theres no need for this.

That being said, they offer free games and dynamic themes, which is pretty cool

trolling doesn't particularly annoy me unless it's accompanied with a poll. polls almost always make "oh this seems good and all but am i alone here in thinking..." topics last for days and weeks on end. and frankly, the ****storm that will follow will be nothing more than infuriating.

When has anybody said that? This was the first time that Sony has pushed for an optional based subscription fee to further online content and as far as I can tell most people are taking it quite well, and have expressed their interest if not their will to pay. Sure, if you don't like it then don't pay for it. But PSN+ has made it quite clear that the value of free games and services will outweigh that of the entire one year fee in only several months.

its insanity at its finest period. They were very vauge about what you could do with the psn+ but hey we will find out in july according to jack trenton i am very skeptical though cause they are offering betas and other "exclusive" stuff that can only be had on psn+ what are they gonna do hold back dlc for the psn+? and on another note i wonder if the stuff you purchase while under plus do you get to keep it or does it go away if you dont renew?
