I was stunned when a buddy of mine told me no umd drive in the thing...lol, i thought the poor decision making was slowing down a bit but i guess not.
50 pounds less than a ps3? no UMD slot? Seriously Sony need to thinka little. This price is not going to revitalise the PSP. I would bite more if they were proposing the PSP go for the same price as the PSP and the PSP at a discounted price
Agreed. The only reason I was looking forward to the PSP Go was in the hopes that they would reduce the price of the original. Now I don't have to worry about it though as I'm buying one off of a relative who doesn't want it anymore.50 pounds less than a ps3? no UMD slot? Seriously Sony need to thinka little. Wow about your sig. GhostMLD was my favourite poster ever :(, I didn't know he had youtube vids! lol sorry for the off topic.
Yeah, he was a legend. This way he won't be forgotten.
No it's not, it's 250 Euros, 250 dollars and 250 pounds. That's still a ridiculous rip-off though. Sony dont know what currency conversion is.Ninja-Hippo250 euros converts to $349 USD. 250 Pounds coverts to $412 USD. That's more expensive the a PS3 in the US.

Sony doesn't understand how to convert so they price it at 250 everywhere or that's what I thought until I found that price online.

Play.com is a UK company. So when you buy something off there when you live in a european country, they just convert whatever the price in pounds is into euros. They dont have european stores.[QUOTE="-PuLse"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]"It's probably too cheap".Floppy_Jim:lol: I like reading your posts Mr. Floppy_Jim. lol for £20 more you can get a ps3, i think that's a misprice or otherwise the chance of that selling is at 0%. there was a sale on the other day were the slim psp was at £50 i think at morrisons whos going to pay £200 more for this?
Wow... what do you say to that? It costs more than a 360, hell it isn't far off from the PS3 itself.

I like the PSP, but my god, 250GBP/250EU for PSP GO is just outrageous. Oh well, typical treatment of Europe from Sony I suppose.
Sony haven't set any UK price yet, this is just placeholder prices until we get an official UK price, and if TC took any notice of Sony E3 conference he'd know that it cost €250 in Europe.

bdum_pshhh
I know it was priced at €250 at E3 but I check the price of it online and that's the price I found.
ok so they have just removed the umd drive and made the screen smaller. and they have ranked up the price from £150 for the current model to £250 for psp go away. this is absolutely ridiculous. sony have well and truly given a load of bull this gen. they used to be brilliant but now they are off their head.
How dares Sony release a quality product that actually lasts and charge for it accordingly!? They should just release a piece of garbage that breaks in 3 months and it's build cheap (of course then you get money for over-charging for any extra accesory you need for it to function properly)!Odrec*looks at ps3 with 200 dollar price cut*
