PSP nominees are a joke

PSP gaming in general is a joke

Or maybe the PSP does have a very good selection? The PSP is doing very well, has a great selection of games, and is therefore far from being a joke.

And my guess is is that those games are remakes. Remakes of great games (FFT, Disgaea, and Symphony of the Night, I mean come on, awesome games) but remakes nonetheles. I'm sure Gamespot wanted to go with original titles that have not been released. That's my thought and I'm sticking to it (unless someone has the a better or the actual explanation).

Yeah, that list isn't good. Instead of Jeanne D'Arc and Pirates, they should have put Final Fantasy Tactics and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow.

A handheld should be good on it's own merits, not anothers. THe DS is the DS and the GBA is the GBA. Just because the DS is reverse compatible, does not mean the DS automatically claims the GBA's ground work.

Thats like saying the PS3 is the best since you can play PS2 games on it. Most anyone will agree the PS2 was the best last gen, but the PS2's succes didn't make the PS3 a success.

Different strokes for different folks. There is a wide selection of games that I want for each handheld, but for you only one. And while I would say you should taste in games should broaden, I respect the fact that your taste is the way it is. Plus, you are making the sacrifice for Kingdom Hearts :D Thats a good note for anyone in my book.

I didn't think of that. That's probably the reason, nice.

As for the DS being the best handheld ever... I dunno. I know it plays GBA game but if you just take the DS games I don't think it comes close to de GBA. I seriously tried to like the DS, I even trolled the PSP last year, but this year I bought no DS game because no one is worth it, Zelda: PH just isn't that good. Objectively, this was PSP's year, and its future looks bright too, we just have to wait what both handhelds have for us.

GBA is better then DS IMO. Who cares if the DS can play GBA games. GBA has a lot more better games then the DS. Plus the DS can't play GBC games, which had many outstanding games. GBC >> GBA > DS=PSP.

Ummm, no. Getting a DS just because it's reverse compatible is stupid. It should have a decent library of it's own games. and on the DS's own merits, to me it's not worth buying.

No the argument is that the GB is better than the DS. And I'd have to side with her on that. Like the GBA, the GB actually realised it's potential. The DS on the other hand has mostly games that look like they belong on the GBA and hardly any of them put the touch screen to good use. The DS is probably the most over rated handheld ever.

Jeanne D' Arc doesn't suck its pretty good. As for me owning a DS I was disappointed in Zelda:PH it was a let down just like Zelda:TPjasonharris48

I actually think the DS is the best handheld ever. It offers everything that any of its predecessors has offered before it, and more.

Dare I make this statement? It is the best puzzle platform EVER. That is the meat and potatoes of handheld gaming, and the DS has some of the best puzzlers out there, and plenty of them, to boot.

The DS has a healthy selection of quality RPGs.

The DS effectively introduces 3D gaming into the handheld world (along with the PSP), and games like MKDS and MP: H are great uses of the more advanced tech.

Also, the RTS scene that's rising on the DS is starting to look more and more impressive, and its TBS games are as good as any others that have been made for a handheld.

I really don't think there is anything to dislike about the DS. Any hating is just nit-picking really.
