PSP vs DS?

I prefer the DS myself, I had the psp when it first came out and it was fun for awhile but got bored of it. The DS I just got the new DSI and this is my favorite handheld ever. Yeah the ds might not be as powerful as the psp but the games are fun. Also another thing I like is there is new franchises on the ds,

DS owns, if you know how to optimise its use. ;) Also, it has a much better games library and is far more universal with other software.tirralirra

I know how to use it you push buttons or touch the screen to play games by yourself or with friends that are in the same room gamboy anyone?

I would have to say no on the library being better

PSP. You can play games, watch movies, upload pics and music, and go online. With the DS, all you get is cheap looking video games.

DS is far better, I got a PSP last year and regret it, so manyterrible games.

DS is very good, yes

DS for me. Dominates the PSP IMO.

DS. It has a lot more games, and they are better suited for handheld gaming. And the GBA slot gives it a lot more games to play. I'v had 3 psps, and i sold/returned all of them. I don't thin ki'll be going back for another one.

DS for me, I enjoy more of its library. The psp is eh I regret buying it, not much fun. Also, if you want to bring it's other funtionalities in, the DSi can do most of them too, and you still have access to a great library.

Just got a PSP and think it is excellent. Really surprised how much I am enjoying a handheld system. I have a DS that I hardly ever play and I have had it for a couple of years. I think the PSP is better in all categories.

I am not saying the DS is bad but I don't think it's very good either. With the PSP I can download demos and games, web browser, movies, music, pictures, the screen is much better, it looks better than the DS, and I think it has better games.

i gave my ds to my mother in law. its played out. i dont buy a lot of portable games because i only play portable games away from home, and the ones i do buy are typically games that will last a while like rpgs. i understand the ds' library is very large but if you only buy one two handheld games a year, having an enormous library is kind of a moot point. the only game on that system i really want is knights in the nightmare. otherwise, tbh i find the gba's library was superior in every aspect, and mine still works fine.

i like my psp a lot. it has seen hundreds of hours of play. it has a lot of great games like jeanne darc, patapon, riviera, and so on that hold my attention and can be played in short bursts. i am really looking forward to disgaea 2.

SW: the only place on earth that prefers psp library lol.
The DS itself and its controls function much better as well.

DS by a long shot. The only reason why people would say PSP is because the hardwares better. The library is absolutely terrible though.

I got a PSP at launch, and it was the only system I've ever sold in my life.

Nintendo is working on a way to view videos on the DSi, so once that happens, I could add that to the list too.

I have played more games for the DS then the PSP and the PSP wins, for me. You may think it has a better library but I don't and it sounds like you are trying to convince yourself. I have a DS and PSP so it is not like I am just fanboy just stating the PSP is better becauses it's what I have.

PSP for me.Just because I can play FF7 on it :P.The DS is brilliant aswell but I prefer the PSP.

So if a game isn't AAA or AA u can't play it or enjoy it.It doesn't matter which has more AA or AAA games.

DS IMO. But their are some games I want for the PSP so when PSP Go releases I will buy a PSP-3000 when it should be cheaper.
