Rules Used - Quality beats out Quantity - (Racing section is an example). In case of a tie, quantity is used as the breaker (the next best game). Games at or above 8.5 are used unless there is no game of a certain genre that represents the system in question (except Hotel Dusk because that game is AMAZING!!! and should be recognized).

So many mistakes.  First, Metroid Prime isn't an FPS.  Second, why is Phoenix Wright an adventure game?  And finally, the rythm games you used are bs.  You didn't even use Elite Beat Agents or the other beat games on PSP.

ummm... Metroid Prime hunters is an FPS and PW is an Adventure game. I went off of what gamespot says... even the scores. I used EBA (Elite Beat Agents), and Gitaroo Man Lives is the best (and only) Rhythm game on the PSP.

I thought someone would say that. But to be honest... Hotel Dusk actually hurt the DS's overall score. The DS already had the Adventure genre down and the 8.2 score brought down its average. I just think HD:R215 amazing :P 

Fact: I bought and exchanged about 7 PSPs and each of them had issues with stuck pixels. It's screen resolution is 480x272 meaning that it displays 130560 pixels. My LCD monitor displays at 1680x1050 which is 1764000 pixels. It displays roughly 13.5x more pixels than the PSP's screen and my LCD has no issues with stuck pixels at all. So the fact of the matter is that Sony has (had?) QA issues with their LCD screens. FACT.PikaPichu

very true... but thanks to 3rd parties and Opera we can get most everything that the PSP has for about the same price on the DS! (Music, movies, photos, Web Browser). :D

wow... ok, well people usually like Phoneix Wright more, but I like Hotel Dusk just as much. I recommend getting both at some point, but start with Phoneix Wright to test the Adventure Genre Waters...XD

Metroid Prime is not a FPS.

But Metroid Prime Hunters is.

Phoenix Wright is an adventure. In fact, it is the very definition of an adventure game back when adventure games ruled the PC market.

Yeah, the DS needs to improve on it's sports lineup. I don't know what EA is doing but wow, Madden sucks on the DS.

But the PSP has Fight Night, and it's godly on the PSP. Pugilism on the go!

thats why I asked for opinions as well... But this is as close to facts as we can get... so, yay? 

I'll just be outright honest with you - your thread is very uneducated. Don't take this the wrong way, but I beleive you have never played a PSP or, at least, for long.

Here are just some of the things I've noticed. Coded arms is NOT an adventure game. If you wanted to put an adventure game there, put Daxter, Ratchet, Monster Hunter -there are a lot of very quality adventure games for the PSP.

Next, the FPS - wth?

RPG section - that is just messed up. While Pokemon is awesome, there are so many more better RPG games for the PSP - Monster Hunter (bad ratingwise, but fantastic gameplay+fanbase), Tales of series, Kingdom, etc.

Also, it's a fact there are more AA and I also think AAAs for the PSP. If it wasn't for piracy it would be doing much better than it is now, probably on par with DS.

I'm a proud owner of a PSP because of the fantastic titles for it. Please, don't base your observations off of sales or rumours, especially ones you hear on the Internet - make the decision on your own. The PSP can be a fantastic gaming + multimedia machine.

Also, more ownage - PSP had more online games at its launch than the Wii does now. Woo hoo!
(sorry if this post sounds wierd, I'm really out of it, I think I'm sick. Also, I'm not a fanboy, I'm just stating my opinion.)
