POST TO END ALL RANTING
Its really all a matter of preference. If you prefer shooting, sports, or racing games, then by all means get a PSP, as the DS has one DECENT title for shooting and racing and none for sports. If you prefer creative games, RPGs, or puzzle-games then get a DS. The PSP has some decent puzzle games but is low in the creativity. I have owned both and as i cannot love without my shooters and madden then i prefer the PSP. As i said there is no way to say THIS is better than THAT. Its all preference.
[QUOTE="HappyInvader101"]Thanks man for the help it doesn't seem as if I'm getting much :( (even though sales are 40 to 20).DS is so much better than the PSP.
I have a PSP and I actually do use it as a paperweight. Only reason I am keeping it is for God of War and Parappa

Dr Hyde come on man thats a great way to debate. Put up some logical proof if you want to disprove it.
G-man: I'm actually starting to think that way as well but we'll see how this turns out:lol:
I don't need to put any logical proof into it. It's a matter of choice. Even reviews from any site are subject to the users opinion. I get loads of use out of my PSP from being a gaming device to a music player to a video player, and sometimes if my computer is tied up by my GF, I'll even use the web browser to get some web browsing out of the way. I also, on occasion, pick up my GF's DS and play some Nintendogs or NSMB. Unfortunately though, most of your "logic" is just plain wrong or horribly subjective. A case could equally be made that the DS runs the way of the PSP with ports and rehashes and the five hour playtime you suggest is absolutely wrong as I can easily get 10 hours out of mine on a full charge with the original battery, not even considering the boost to it with the 2200 battery that I've yet to test. Only first generation games were plagued with bad load times and most of the recent games have very little such as Tekken and MGS: PO.Â
That was a rockin post and yes I agree. I was trying to prove a point and I think I did it somewhat well, and I learned a lot about the good things for the psp as well. Thanks for all the fun guys:) End of rantPOST TO END ALL RANTING

As Penguin said we should end this as its not getting us anywere, but you have some very flawd points which I must disprove.1. I agree it comes down to choice, however your not giving the ds enough credit
2. I agree if your computer is tied up it would be nice to have one
3. I already said they both have a lot of ports and rehash's
4. Read this ign article: http://psp.ign.com/articles/574/574557p1.html according to their tests(which are thorough) the psp only lasts 5hours and 9 minutes during gameplay and 2 hours 46 mins with wifi. I don't want to say your liyng but check it again.
5. All a new battery will do is add more cost. Im not talking about a heavily moded psp just a vanilla.
6. And about the load times I agree some games are better but check out this GS article http://www.gamespot.com/features/6159832/index.html Lumines(your only triple A) takes a freaking 55 seconds to load which is insane.
Well, I like both, but to put it lightly,
DS- 9.2/10
PSP- 7/10
Still a respectable score, but the PSP just doesn't do it for me. It's a good handheld and I understand why people like it, but none of the games appeal to me and those that do, I can find a better version on the PS2. But Disgaea and FFT are coming out for the PSP soon so I might bump that score up to 7.6/10 soon.
