It's been known for a while now that the PSP2 would be announced later today...

Not sure why it would have an Android operating system. So I'm assuming that's just a mix up on the part of that site.

I see no reason why they wouldn't continue with the XMB and would use a third-party OS for their dedicated gaming handheld.

Having Android on it makes sense, imagine having all the apps on your PSP. Android is the best operating system for phones and tablets, it'll be cool seeing it used in portable gaming devices. Sonys always upping the ante on technology. If they manage to keep this under 300 bucks, they have a winner.

Kinda weird if it is an Android OS, don't see why they'd do that.

Using Android doesnt make sense, especially when you consider there is also the Xperia Play (playstation phone). I'm calling bullocks. I guarantee you who ever wrote that got confused with the phone.
