Uh...the thing is, that's complete BS. Crytek has specifically stated that no console version is currently in the works, and has never once said anything about a console version being made. Cryengine 2 is being ported, not Crysis. This magazine is junk.Manly-manly-man

This is the THIRD time PSW has brought up this rumor.

THIRD. EVERY time they have been debunked. PSW is a bunch of incompetent idiots pretending to be games journalists. Cows, but sorry, they have even less credibility than anyone you could ever find on SW. They make up rumors to sell magazines, get hits and, basically, get free publicity.

If Crysis is not great then I don't know what is CoD 4, Halo 3, and other highly rated FPS in 2007 since Crysis got SOTY

IF it comes PS3 will FINALLY have a good game. That said however it will look like absolute trash compared to the PC version and the difference will be so much so that it will be impossible to explain away.

I've noticed something lol. At the beginning of the thread all the cows were hyped for Crysis to come to the PS3. Gradually, as the rumor is debunked and as PSWs journalism and credibility is called into question and it becomes apparent that even if Crysis did come to the PS£, it would be a hugely inferior version, the cows reply with:

It would probably be fine, but in this game the graphics actually have something to do with the gameplay and emersion factor so console gamers will lose a significant portion of the experience that the game creates.

I played the game on a 7800gtx it look aweful and had a unplayable framerate at times but i still thought it was a awesome game i look forward to playing it agian on a better hardware whenever i buy some.Holden1985
