Did you really just equate turning down settings and turning up gamma (because TVs don't have similar settings) to cheating? I think you need to go live on dictionary.com for a while and learn what
A) Opinion VS Fact and
B) Cheating VS settings

You might prefer playing on console because of the "level" playing field but that doesn't come close to equating to the superior version especially given the fact it looks AND performs worse.

Hmmm...sounds like you took my post seriously, I was just joking there. I own the Xbox One X version, I don't have a gaming PC. I don't really have a problem playing the X version, it's fun and playable enough despite its issues. Hopefully they will keep improving it over time.

So PUBG on PC (like most games), has:

• Better gfx
• Better performance
• Better/Bigger community and player bae

But somehow it's better on XB.

@kingtito: A $3000 PC user isn't going to dumb down his settings for parity sake against someone with a $700-800 PC lol... People with nice PCs always have an advantage over poorer PC players. Not to mention how much difference there is in mouse and keyboard quality. I prefer everything possible to be the same in competitive play. Only factor you can't control is ping time, but that's rarely a huge difference.

This is a dumb post. Xbox shouldn't even have this game yet as it is completely broken on there. The FPS is horrible and the loading of textures is just as bad. This post is pointless. So no...you have the inferior version. I also play on ultra settings on my PC and place Top 10 a lot. Have won quite a few as well. Please make sure you know what you are talking about before you make a really stupid post. This is why a lot of people on here really question the Xbox and why it even exist.

And by your logic then the OG Xbox One has an advantage compared to the Xbox One X as the settings are about low on the original and about medium on the One X?

Why would the X have the advantage. Remember what the OP said that someone with lower settings has an advantage...such as the original xbox one running about low settings with the One X running at medium settings.

@Diddies: Low settings on PC mean the player wants extra fps. Low settings on Xbox One means it has a sucky GPU.. has nothing to do with performance. The best players in that game turn some of the settings down to get the max fps they can on PC.

Not entirely correct. The textures and shadows are worse on the Xbox One vs One X, also the draw distance is worse on the Xbox One vs One X. So it is different as I discuss the Xbox One is equivalent to low settings and the One X is equivalent to medium. Also some people turn down the settings on PC to not only improve FPS, but to also have worse shadows, and draw distance turned down so bushes, etc. won't pop up until they get closer. It isn't that great of an advantage, but a very slight advantage. I still play mine on ultra with no issues.

@kingtito: Consoles up until the mid gen crap has always been great for competitive multiplayer games. Yes, the hardware is exactly the same, as is the game. On PC, there's advantages and disadvantages on every competitive game. How can you even argue this? Never watched any esport competition, but I assume they all use the same hardware.

Who buy's a $500 mid gen upgrade and makes arguments about WAITING for it to get good? This was the biggest game on the system for MS too. Seems all xbox fanboys rushed to buy whatever MS pooped out and are now making excuses for what a failure this "uncompromised 4k" system really is.

I could say the Pro is no less of a disappointment but then again not all Sony fans rushed out to buy it like brainless drones and the Pro wasn't falsely hyped by fans as an uncompromied 4k wonder.

This is a hilariously misinformed thread. You do realise turning down PC settings only really offers subjective advantages now, same with colour adjustment. FPS gains are the only real reason people still do it and that's usually those seeking 100+.

Also, the One X has worse draw and render distance than PC on low, so players are probably easier to spot on console regardless, and good luck killing them with a controller at sub 30FPS from 100+m away.

If is so weird bagging about a game that PC gamers have been playing for a long time already. Not sure what makes this exciting.

Imagine having to spend time in your life fighting to justify an inferior gaming experience because you are too dumb or scared by having to put in any effort to get a PC set up and need the child protections of a console.

• Low framerates and settings forever, no chance of changing
• Small playerbase
• Paying for online
• No utility

The game only exists and was successful enough to warrant selling on consoles because of the open nature of the PC platform, enjoy the mental gymnastics required to block that one out.

1) Majority of E-Sports are PC Games.

Esports teams tend to use the equipment from whoever sponsors them.

It's a preview game, by definition it is not finished yet. It released a couple of weeks ago and has already received two huge over 4 GBs patches. Clearly a lot of work needs to be done to get it to a finished product but they obviously will get there as evidenced by the PC version.

Bushes stay popped in even on lower settings. However, the grass seems less full on low.

You are right about the shadows, however. On higher settings, it's nearly impossible to see people in shadows, but on low it's at least doable.

You're right, slight correction - it's the One version that can't match low on PC and the X is worse than medium (paraphrased from DF). Regardless, that's still pretty damn terrible.

I don't get the hype for this game. I get that different people like different things, but it's just another online shooter in my book..yawn
