I think this is entire thread is off topic, but since M$ owns this thread, there is no way to combat it.

M$ paid for exclusive threads like these and we have to deal with it. I was alerted to this thread on Xbox Live in the middle of a Halo 3 match.

It's truly hilarious how many people still buy into this conspiracy theory...

If Cnet were owned by Microsoft, there would be a much more overt Xbox 360 bias to the site. Much more overt.

I disagree with CNET and say the PS3 is the better console, but to each his own.

Besides, only one case. If it was multiple cases, then I'd start to suspect something. They are just casting their honest opinion, not broadcasting their fanboyism.

Note: this wasn't meant to counter you, just had to state my opinion as well, and what I think about this accusations.
