Put your $ where your mouth is - what is YOUR attach rate???

We can all talk about graphics, exclusives, etc. - but when it comes down to it how many games have been worthy of YOUR OWN MONEY? Soooo, what is your attach rate (ie - how many games do you OWN for your Wii, PS3, or 360 ONLY). Please don't tell me how many PS2 games you have, or how many on the DS you have - just next-gen systems.

Personally, I have 18 Xbox 360 games that I own - Gears, GRAW, GRAW2, Rainbow Six Vegas, NFS:MW, Condemned, Crackdown, Fight Night R3, Madden, NBA Live 06, Blazing Angels, Oblivion, F.E.A.R., COD2, COD3, NCAA Football 07, Splinter Cell Double Agent, and Dead Rising.

Wii- 4 Wii cards, 4 Wii games

DS-5 games

OP- I think you should have Wii owners automatically exclude Wii Sports unless they have a JPN Wii, simply because it's bundled and not a choice. I also think that Wii Play should be excluded as well, as I think 99% of the people who bought it did so for the remote, but that one is your call.

For me, that makes an attatch rate of one game with my Wii- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.

I have 12 Xbox 360 games and 2 Wii games.

360 ones are: Condemned, Tony Hawk's American wasteland, Tony hawk's project 8, Guitar Hero 2, Saints Row, Burnout Revenge, Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, Oblivion, Gears of War, The Darkness, Crackdown

Well, that too is a reasonable reason (that sounds weird) to include it.

I was just adding that because most of us didn't have the choice. Nice little party game, though.

Someone on this forum has to own more PS3 games than I do. Look at those Xbox 360 figures, damn.

I do own over 400 PC games but some date back to the 1990s. I also own at least 40 PSP games and around 10 DS ones.

I'm actually surprised by the Wii numbers, so far. I asked this same question several months back and most Wii owners had 1-3 games, that's it. Now, a lot of you have upwards of 10 games. Wow - not what I thought. The PS3 is about what I expected, good, but not overwhelming. The 360 is about what I thought - some of us have really built up a cool collection.

The reason I ask this question is: games are what make the $$$, not console sales. You can say all you want about a system's graphics, online, controller, etc., but if you aren't buying games for that system - then, who cares???

It is funny to see Ridge Racer 7 in there. Kaz would be proud.

Not trying to make this into a fanboy thread, but this is what Nintendo needs to look at. Look at how many games some of us hardcore users buy. Some of us buy 1-3 games every month. Xbox 360 has been out for what? 18 months or so and some people have 50+ games. That is 3 games every months. Hardcore gamers are the one that help software sales not casuals.

360 - 59 games

ps3 - 4 games

wii - 10 games

Pfft. I made an even worse impulse decision that day. I bought the 20gig over a 60gig unit. And then I sold it to buy a 60gig in February. I did get $480 for that 20gig, so it wasn't that much of a loss.
