I got you in! Bait and Hook!
Seriously though, it doesn't like like anything impressive. I can't see me draining my Card just for an early demo and a TV show.
Though SOCOM early access is so very tempting... :|

The truth.
Hurts.
Me.
I was hoping to see an argument that actually supported this thing, I still don't see why anybody would pay for this.DaBrainz
There's one...kind of reasonable defence. Well it's not a defence of the idea, just the habits of Lemmings/Manticores attacking the game.
G4 are also putting exclusive TV shows on Xbox Live for a cost per download. Anyone know how much an episode costs to download off a TV show on Xbox Live as UK gets no TV shows, and barely any movies.
QORE is like an OPM mag subscription only difference is you access it through PSN.
PSN is FREE which lemms have failed to realize but still spins it as a negative in desperation of damage controlling.
IMO, once firmware 2.40 goes live:
PSN = Live
PSN + QORE >>> Live
dont get me wrong fanboys, i'm just posting on what i'm seeing and enjoying but think about what will happen once HOME gets released...
PSN + QORE + HOME... omg...

honestly i would subscribe to QORE just to get rid of my old PSM magazines.. ..make my room a little bit clean
I won't be paying the annual fee , but if some interestingI things come along then I will think about paying for an episode here or there.
Nike_Air
I'm with you on that. I might buy it now and then. The first one looks like a buy with that socom confrontation beta. I think this is mainly a way for sony and the companies to pay for the betas and to restrict the number of people entering the beta since everyone isn't going to want to pay the $3.

Wow and two very little things make psn better than live? I thought live was supposed to be so great? I will rarely buy Quore and as for home I'm not expecting to play it too much. I'm not the sims type.

$3? I've been reading it at £3 the entire time! Oo
You really know nothing about Qore. Yet, you still bash it..?
That's nice. But you really can't complain about pricing when you pay to play the games that you already own. That's like buying a cheeseburger at McDonalds and then paying an extra fee to have the right to eat it.

I have to pay for extra BBQ toppings at McD's. Paying for toppings stinks.

Nah, I don't have time to dine on my way to and from work. It's the only choice for me. It's about filling the tank, not about tasting good.
On second thought. Qore is like a magazine subscription. I'm sure it's content won't be as extensive as gaming magazines are now, but it has the potential to grow and become big like OPM.
If this happens, then you could say the price is justified.
[QUOTE="thrones"][QUOTE="TREAL_Since"]It's a very cool idea. The price is not cool.Luxen90
Well, it's the equivalent of a TV show on Xbox Live... maybe? I don't actually know. What's the damn price on US XBL TV shows? :(
Is 2.99 bad? I'm just asking.

"...roughly 90% of each episode should be unique and exclusive. Speaking of exclusives, Qore will also sometimes bring content to the table that you won't be able to get elsewhere, at least easily. For example, the first episode will give you access to the SOCOM: Confrontation beta when it goes live. That's sure to sell a few episodes."

That's what all the other gaming magazines think, too. Then the scans appear online days ahead before most people receive their issue.
So let me get this straight, Qore will provide you exclusive demos, betas, hd content, etc. but do you believe these tv shows will be free once you pay the subscription? Most likely you'll still be paying for these tv shows, movies, etc.
Anyway, I'm still making a list to those who doubts I'm a real PS3 owner. Those who's in the list will have to make a system wars bet, and if I show proof with pictures, PSN IDs, and a picture of me holding a piece of paper that shows my GS ID and my movie room setup that shows my PS3, will have to put "I got owned by ReverseCycology" in their sig.
I will provide the sig for you people. But first you have to make that system wars bet, and I'll be putting you in the list. Man, I can't wait.

How are people going to get a scan of a download? :|
Elite agents go into the Sony network and steal it and distribute it to the public?

Qore as far as I'm aware only distributes a single exclusive TV show you won't find anywhere else. The PlayTV and HD movie download services doesn't appear to need Qore.

Of course, not everyone has joined the digital age.I'm sure PS3 owners and Qore subscribers have the ability to search the web. Paying for info that I can get for free is just silly. Paying for promo items is beyond silly.

Yea, if ppl's focus are the demo's/beta invites... I don't think that a yearly subscription would be worth it... maybe a single episode for a game that you're REALLY interested in.
I'll give it a try if the interviews & regular content are good though. Really, I'm just looking forward to exclusive R2, KZ2, & GOW III content.
