the 360 version still wont look anywhere near as good as the PC version..... You DO NOT have to upgrade save every generation to get better than consoles, one of the highest rating PC titles was a casual title, not to mention SIMS is one of the best selling casual titles in existance, and we have the most high qualitiy titles with every genre in abundance. This is my opinion but perfect dark blew. It was not fun, it was too shiny, wasnt too fond of the controlls, the mulitplayer was ok, there was to much armor for you to get, it took way to many shots to kill someone, and the singleplayer um blew all over everywhere. Great news. This looks like a nice title for the PC so it's great people don't need to spend a lot of money upgrading their PC when they can just get this game for a console now.Huh? You mean the DS version? No way will that hold a candle to the PC version. >_>
So now it's Spore lost, Quake Wars and... Crysis next is my guess. We'll have to wait and see.

And it doesn't phase me, or any Hermits. Take one exclusive away from the Hermits and they just have more and more. We don't all crowd around one or two games like the consolites do. And the game will still be best on PC, due to being the superior technical machine, and mods, of course. >_>

the 360 version still wont look anywhere near as good as the PC version..... PC oblivion has been modded to look far better. IGN stated that the PS3 version of Oblivion is on par with the PC version or even better(ill find the quote) and the 360 and PC version is getting the update for better draw distance and detail like the PS3 version.On another note if you have Oblivion mods then yea it would look better I suppose.I dont have Oblivion on PC so I wouldnt know but correct me if im wrong,to run the mods like the texture mod you would need to have hardware capable of rendering them?Possibly,you wouldve have to upgrade to run them stabily.It looks like they would take quite a bit of power,:)that texture mod looks soooooo purrty.

I repeat, you do not have to upgrade over the span of a generation. Look at it like this. Something you purchase in 2006 that is outperforming the consoles will STILL be doing so in 2011. While PC games evolve at a faster rate, the low end will still look better tha nconsoles, and it provides a standardized hardware set up for gamers. You do NOT have to upgrade to run games decently. IF you were having problems there are things called "CVARS".
