How many physical copies sold though? Should know in few hours. There is usually a detailed UK sales topic every Monday morning.
@blessedbyhorus: Without numbers you can't really say that. Not exactly a lot of games to compete against right now.
@mr_huggles_dog: I doubt many will. I won't. But hey at least me and others played the frigging game, unlike you who is lurking like some dachshund and waiting to aggressively bark at something you had no experience with.
Hopefully it sells well. I really enjoyed the game, though the episodes felt a little forced and jarring... I definitely would have preferred them to be standalone.
I enjoyed the characters, and the main actors did pretty stellar jobs. Remedy deserve some good sales IMO.
Really glad to hear this, it's a fantastic game and Remedy is a very humble developer that deserves all the success in the world.
@dynamitecop: Here's hoping they will instantly start working on Alan Wake 2 and it's gonna be unveiled on either E3 or Gamescom.
This time I hope they will put a lot more effort in the gameplay department, though. Plus, I hope this level of writing in Quantum Break will prevail there and I hope they will change the voice actor of Alan Wake because even compared to Shawn Ashmore that guy sounded unconvincing as hell.
@Salt_The_Fries: True I can see the similarities. I'm re-watching the first episode now, I like the actress that plays her.....overall decent cast.

This made me lol
I'd love to get the game, but it just doesn't sit right with me to pay 70€ for a PC game. I can get the console version for 60 € here. MS, release a retail PC version, if you don't want to sell it any cheaper.

It's funny because it's so true lol...

Why didn't you do the Xbox pre-order with the free PC version? I see so many people complaining about the PC price yet that pre-order bonus has been available since the game was announced for PC two months ago...
@dynamitecop: I must have missed that. I didn't really pay much attention to the game back then. And I also avoid pre-ordering games. Second problem is that 60 € would've been still too much, when almost all PC games are around 50 € or lower here in retail. I almost never buy new PC games from Steam or other DD services because they're expensive.

Well it was a hell of a deal, glad I jumped on it.
You got Quantum Break for Xbox One and PC + Alan Wake, its two DLC's and the American Nightmare standalone game.
For $60 that's a damn steal.

"the 70 dollar price tag is justified even though it's a rushed port because people who blindly threw money at the developers with pre orders got it"
Um what?
Pre orders are cancer and the game is a 6/10
@R4gn4r0k: I'm glad you liked it, bro. This is clearly a game for Remedy fans.
Yes, it was very in line with previous Remedy games. The final act taking place in a tower gave me a total Max Payne 1 vibe :D
Just like in Max Payne and Alan Wake the story telling was very unique. And this might be because I just finished it, but I think this was their best story to date.
Also, the audio and visuals were of amazing quality. I'm sure many people will form their own opinion of the game, and don't give that much about the lower review scores.
best-selling new Microsoft Studios IP this generation
Microsoft does it again. Flawless.
According to the sales thread at everyone's favourite gaming site: it's 27K~, didn't beat Alan Wake opening.
Apparently Quantum Break UK sales are not very good. About 28k according the resident Neogaf sales experts. It just barely beat out Dirt Rally which should tell you all you need to know.
For comparison Bloodborne did 42k in the first week in the UK and ROTR did around 46k in the same time frame. Even The Order 1886 sold 40k!
Sorry lems it is not a hit..
Uk charts, the most predictable chart around. QB just released so naturally it would atleast make the top ten, happens with any new game with some hype around it. It's a pattern I've noticed with UK charts. So I'll make few predictions now.
Dark Souls 3. top ten, upper half.
Uncharted 4. top ten, #1
No mans sky. top ten, lower half(Think I'm going to be wrong with this one, hype was high early on but may have slowed recently)
I'm happy to see a game being successful but don't try and use UK charts as ownage like I said they're easy to predict.
Have they fixed the issue with the game wiping out your saved game data and forcing you to start the game over? Got up to Act 4 and tried playing yesterday afternoon and couldn't continue, saw a post on reddit and QB forum. I hoping somehow it gets fixed. Not looking forward to go through and catch up.
